Honestly, I think it really depends on the situation. Like, for the Master Chief motivational stuff, if that genuinely helps them overcome their porn addiction, then all the more power to them. Same thing with ASMR roleplays: if you're not obsessing over it or applying the mindsets within them to the real world, then I don't see an inherent problem there. However, these things should not be used to substitute human interaction unless you physically cannot interact with others (like for those with compromised immune systems). It's all about insuring that you use these things to better yourself, but most people just stew in them and lose sight of the world around them.
Of course, there are some things that cannot help you at all. I can't think of any reason that watching anime armpits and/or porn could help you be healthy. It all depends on whether they intend to deprive themselves of human interaction, which, sadly, most people who indulge in these things do.
Also, I think the most down bad people are the lolicons.
