This episode had to be re-uploaded. If you saw it the 1st time there's NEW matches for you at the end of the episode. For anyone that missed it the 1st time, I hope you enjoy the entire episode! Thanks everyone for supporting the series and I hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year!
As someone who has been a diehard FM player for many years and now working in the front office of a top flight domestic league in my home country, I'm finding this series so interesting. Love the deep-dive you're doing into the philosophy of a winning program. Well done!
Thank you so much for reaching out and leaving me some feedback I really appreciate it!\ What country are you from do you mind me asking? By the way you use front office and program I'm assuming U.S or Canada?
This could be an unbelievable save, I copied the plan for fm22. 6 games in with Morecambe, predicting to finish 24 but outplaying top teams. They just have the quality on the break and score. Few tweaks for me, BPD play a wider or we get beat on the outside. P.I. Tackler harder but team plan stay on feet.
Hi really enjoying your in depth understanding of the game here. Love the fact you literally took the blueprint for English football and used that to build your tactics and philosophy. Your training schedule was interesting too. There are some who would say it could be tweaked more (wink, wink).
Thanks Alex glad you've enjoyed the series so far" Yeah it won't stay like that. Eventually it will be a season long training program in which I will go into detail with later on. There's two clear ways you can go about introducing a philosophy on a UEFA B course for example and I've saved that for a future episode.
Perfect! Let me know how you get on! I've made a couple of mistakes or things I would do differently next season and the great thing about it is i try to point out everything I do good and bad so people can learn from it at the same time!
I've noticed you cancelled the friendlies the club had already in place, and chose your own. Is there a plan to this? Do you want to only play weaker teams to build morale and form?
Hey Phil how are you mate? Yes! On Friday around 3-4PM I will be continuing the Moneyball Network save with BusttheNet! I hope you had a good Christmas!
@@TheCultofFM brilliant I'm off work then so I'll be watching and yes I had a great Christmas hope you had a good one too and very excited for the stream on Friday now ill see you there
how did you do it that when you look at a player you look at his attributes and not at his Profile ? when i click on a player it is the other way around and i have to switch it manually
If you go into preferences there's an option in there that says something to the effect of " When you click on a player's profile " then the default is show profile page and you need to manually change it to attributes which is how it used to be in older Football Managers! It's the same for when you click a league and it shows you the overview or the stage
Thanks for the comment Lee! I won't be signing anyone from other clubs and will only use players that come through my own academy at Burton Albion. Hope you've enjoyed the first 2 episodes so far and hope to see you around in the next one!
Athletic Bilbao are a great candidate for it and as you can only use Basque players only, you're already restricted quite a bit even if you didn't make it a youth only challenge! Norway/Denmark can be pretty good and seem to generate a lot of good youngsters if you want to stay in Europe. If you play in a league that's not the highest in terms of rep, you will have to be prepared to lose your youngsters to bigger clubs however!
It always brutal when you go up as you cant upgrade the team. I just use the extra money to upgrade the facilities. I guess you just spend the money on better coaches?
Yeah Facilities ( If we can ) , Youth recruitment, Staff and anything youth related! Also all of my transfer / wage money will just go on renewing contracts etc
In future episodes, can you please zoom in a bit during the matches because i think the majority of us are watching from their phones and it’s kinda hard to follow the ball
Yep I can change the camera absolutely ! I use this one because you can see the whole pitch which is good for tactical recreations. For this series I can change it to TV Camera or Director.

This is interesting to me, because I`ve just started a QPR save, but with very little funds & am only signing

Is it within the rules to sign regens from other clubs if they are on approach to sign if they have not yet agreed a first professional contract?

Should be there was on it a second ago!
Any recommendations leagues/teams for a youth only challenge
AFC Telford in the National League North start with good facilities for the level.

Unfortunately I don’t wish to discuss it or have it discussed here but if you use Google you will find your answer.

Should be every 2 days in the new year. I'm just waiting on a brand new gaming PC to record new episodes.

I personally don’t mind watching 2D (except for goals), looks cool and kind of old-school
Swear this is a reupload?
The first part is but the games at the end are different. I can’t really explain why but there was a good reason for it.
