      Thank you! I appreciate that! I try to make these videos as step-by-step educational as possible to help people when they have issues or set ups. There was no videos on this system and I seen a bunch of questions and got asked if I could do it. I think it’s a great system if you’re using Mikado.

    Did you have to extend the main wire? I like your install spot better than mine, my wire won’t reach but my fbl tray is in the rear location, gonna love it forward but the screws are lock tighter and i don’t want to strip, it want to know beforehand if you extended the wire

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@johnscarlata9826 yes, I had to extend the main wire, the telemetry wire was more then long enough. You can also use it as a pass though. Plus your servo or esc lead into.

    Can you use other brands like the pulse capacitor on the vbar and just not have the telemetry?

      @@sm.offroad yes you can. You won’t have the telemetry or integration. It will just be a regular Cap pack. If you are running Vbar I highly recommend getting this one.

    Jeff, trying to put one on my raw580. I don’t think it will fit under the ESC tray as you have it. What is the measurement height when laying flat? Also, did you have to add extensions to both leads coming off the guard?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051

      @@raygoldsborough9776 I can get a measurement for you, they also have a smaller one that will be better for the RAW 580. I just got one In so I’ll see if it fits under my ESC tray. I had to extend the main wire but shorten the telemetry wire. (My OCD For clean wiring) lol

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This particular one is designed for use with Mikado. You can use others on the market for ikon like a Xguard but if your flying Vbar this is hands down the one to go with!

    Not having to manually turn it off is nice. Nothing like that available in Europe for non vbar users.
    I tried to use the 1st RC buffer pack and the thing that pisses me off is that it can be connected to a PWM channel to turn off at

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Wow! That is crazy. I’ve never used the 1st buffer packs. Other than the Mikado, the only other one I have used is Xguard and it can be turned off Buy a button on the unit or a remote button added as well as switchable on your transmitter. I have two of them set up on the comments with switchable on off. And it seems to be working fine. But I’m going to switch them out with this mikado ones because of how great this system works! The integration is flawless no need to program or do any of that stuff just plug it in and go.
