Believe me, i went against a mage with two flamewakers, a bunch of spells and a fucking yogg, in arena. All I could think of was the song of silence.
Errm sorry that happened. I can prove that was infact me.. I lost my shit when I found out it was actually trump. I thought it was one of the fake ones. It was pretty much casino mage and I lost the next game to 5 flame strikes.
@Davi Gomes the issue is you are more likely to come across people with insane decks it's just the way it is.

That mage was so fucking lucky. This is what I hate about hearthstone, all the random effects are so dumb and swingy.
Well i played against a rogue today with malchezaar who played mechanical yeti, sylvanas (created by malchezaar), anub'arak (created by malchezaar), into N'zoth (created by fckin malchezaar) ........ i was so done after this game
rng is a big part of this game. there are plenty of other games, like magic the gathering, that are less or no rng. if you dislike this type of game, try playing more strategic ccg :)
I do, I play Magic all the time. I just wish that this game was better.
Without the RNG the game would be plain boring. That is one of the aspects that makes this game great.
Counterpoint: Magic has no cards with random effects and is, in my opinion at least, much more interesting to watch and play, in part because there are no random cards.

The second loss against the rouge was so deserved. Instead of nerubian he could have played ooze (although not on curve) with the same result. Later he plays spiders instead ooze, which is slow on tempo and last but not least he buffs the spider instead of the brewmaster, which is dumb considering the spider is buffed and has a deathrattle. It is common sense to play around silence, but saps is what ends up punishing him for it.

Does anyone know why Trump puts his Piloted Shredders on the side? Flametongue Totem, Direwolf Alpha, even Fairy Dragon are all really good cards to get but their value is maxed in between. And we all know how much Trump loves value...

I remember that back when GvG was in Constructed, he would always make a point of playing Shredder in the middle, for the reasons you've outlined. My guess is that he's merely out of practice with the card now.
at 11:40 why did it matter where the carrot landed if he was just going to trade both anyway? It's not like having the corsair at 2 made any difference, and they both would have traded into the trogg regardless. Am I missing something? I mean yeah, I guess he wouldn't have had the option to lance the corsair but zoo keeper was almost definitely sticking and shredder would still have probably been the play in that case anyway.

Those last decks were a lil' bit insane, and he got ran over by luck, meh shit happens.
well he lost to a rogue with 2 tirions and a rangaros lightlord ,as well as from a mage that got cabalist tome from a spellslinger and had kel thuzad .not much you can do at some matches.
I had Kt and barnes, 3 spell slingers in my deck without the dupe, and then from one of the many spell slingers I played I got tome into pyro and flame strike.. Just remember that even without the luck that my deck was high standard like his and that with the spell slingers he got insane cards as well.
