  • Tawa Bhindi is a popular Indian dish made with okra (lady's fingers) cooked in a flavorful tomato-based gravy. "Tawa" refers to the flat iron griddle or skillet used to cook the dish. Here's a simple recipe to make Tawa Bhindi:
    Ingredients:
    - 250g okra, cut into small pieces
    - 2 medium onions, chopped
    - 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    - 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
    - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
    - 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
    - Salt, to taste
    - 2 tablespoons oil
    - Fresh cilantro, for garnish
    Instructions:
    1. Heat oil in a tawa or large skillet over medium heat.
    2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
    3. Add onions, ginger-garlic paste, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
    4. Add tomatoes, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
    5. Add okra and stir-fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until the okra is cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
