Marlo Thomas's Outfits in this were fantastic yes we remember the Middy Maxi coats they were really warm and Classy
Yes they were.
For someone who is supposed to be near "broke" all the time Ann sure has a lot of clothes, as cute as they may be!
This is the last appearance of Rosemary DeCamp as Ann's mother. They refer to her in future episodes, but she never appears again. I have no idea why. I wish she would have stayed and Ann's father would make no more appearances. He must be one of the most annoying characters in TV history.
Amen. I hate her father. He’s a complete asshole and Ann never tells him to knock it off.
Actually Marlo and Lew Parker were very close. I always saw the love in every scene they ❤ had.
My Mom and Dad once had dinner with Marlo Thomas. That was back in the 60s, and my Dad worked for the ABC-TV network. "Little Boy Blue And The Blue Boys" was the original name for The Rolling Stones. I went to see them with my Dad back in 1966. He got the tickets through ABC-TV. Coincidence? I don't think so.
IT SOUNDS VERY THE 1966 AND 1967 I WAS JUST A CHILD IN 1966 I WAS 3 YEARS 😍🥰😎💋🧔🧔♂🕺💃🐝🐝🐝
Who'd want to listen to that kind of music while dining!
I miss this show.
Bernie Kopell from Love 💕 Boat 🚢 was in multiple episodes on this show.
Bring back The Thorndyke Sisters. They rock! 😁
Lew finally acknowledges that Don is a great guy. It's about time! The 60s and 70s had such great music - what they had in this episode was not that music unfortunately.
Sounds like they threw some “that’ll work” garbage together so they wouldn’t have to pay royalties, rights.
These episodes probably wouldn’t be on here because it would get copyright strikes. Someone would own publishing rights even today.
on Season 5 of That Girl it's a Stag Party for Don and Ann's dad pop out from a cake for Don 😊
17:23 - Ann points to 'Hendrix'.
The first time the band appears the booker refers to them as "The Little Blue Boys" and then at Lew's restaurant, including the poster at the restaurant advertises the band as "The Blue Boys", but Ann introduces them as "The Little Boy Blues". That's 3 different names. You wonder if the writers/producers didni't realize it or just didn't care if there was no continuity.
Can't believe the music in this one, only a few years before the sex pistols
Why is there no sound?😔
BARRY AND I KNOW ALL ABOUT GROOVY IN 1970 AND THE MUSIC
The show ran out of plot in the 4th season. The clothes she wore looked more like costumes than wardrobe. Marlo was wearing a full wig and they had so much eye makeup 💄 on her she could barely roll her 👀
Good show, a period piece.
@@mileshalpern9320 Danny Arnold who did Barney Miller did this show.
@@tonyarceneaux286 Interesting.
@user-Mimi622 I agree. I was in college back when it was in prime time and watched the show regularly. Aside from the first few episodes, Season 5 was mostly a bust. Ann became more of a caricature who tried too hard to be "relevant," and the show collapsed under its own weight. The much more light hearted ambiance of the earlier seasons was far superior. Also, the bouncy, faux pop version of the theme music with its hokey, contrived lyrics was awful.
The propaganda is thick with this one.
OMG! You are so funny. What kind of propaganda? Are the Russians involved? Kim Jong Un? Former President Nixon? Please tell me your theory., I’m on the edge of my seat… 🧐
Explain?
