Coming from someone who lives near Dollywood, and has been MANY MANY times, I have some tips of my own when it comes TO THE ROLLERCOASTERS. If you want to maximize ride time, i know all the usual wait times on the coasters. The wait times from longest to shortest are usually somewhere like this: Fire Chaser Lightning Rod Mystery Mine Dragonflier Tennesee Tornado Wild Eagle Thunderhead Blazing fury Not saying this list will always be true, but its pretty darn close. I have waited nearly two HOURS in line for Fire Chaser once, and to me, its not a good enough ride to wait that long. i try to hit Thunderhead and Tennesee Tornado first, because the wait times usually aren't bad. Another tip, ALWAYS try to go on Fire Chaser and Wild Eagle at the END of the day when most people have left and you can usually walk onto the rides and get whatever seat you want. My personal favorite rides are Thunderhead, Wild Eagle, and Tennesee Tornado, but for those of you who don't like large rides, go for Dragonflier, Balzing Fury or Fire Chaser. Hope this helped!
Well, looks like we did it wrong. LOL. We did get to enjoy the live shows. But we skipped the train and the cinnamon bread and train because of lines. And we didn't know about package pick up or early ride time. Thanks for the tips so we can make the most of our trip later this year!
I’ve went to Dollywood at least 5 times now and I’ve never been in the train me and my family almost did but some people pus us out of the wait along with a lot of other people so we haven’t road it yeat
Thank you for stopping by and glad to have you! Feel free to check out our other videos to learn more about Dollywood and maybe even plan a trip in the future 😊
@@ThemeParkVisionTPV the first time we went was in November of...18 I think. It was very nice that time of year with low crowds so we might aim for that time of year again.
Me and my church are going to dollywood I think on Saturday and they said to go there with your favorite people and I love my two church teachers so I'm going with them. I love them because they are soo funny
2:20 y’all guess what, I went to Dollywood the other day and got cinnamon bread, no line AT ALL, I came back later there was a line of more then a 100 people!! I was lucky😂
I actually agree about the bread. It’s fun but if the line is really long and it’s your only day there in a year or so, skip it. Same as the train. ~ Kristina
Bonus rule: Don’t eat before getting on intense rides or roller coasters. Trust me you don’t want to feel like 🤢. If you do tho, either wait a while or start off small and get on less intense rides before you get on roller coasters. That’s all I wanted to say. 😁👍
Here’s what you shouldn’t do is go. It’s very small and I wasted way too much money. The staff is not friendly at all. Don’t waste your time unless you have young kids then it might be all right.
Sorry to hear you had a bad time at the park! We’ve had a few issues at the park but never anything bad enough to make us want to stop going! The prices can be high but it’s easy to skip out on spending money and just enjoy the park atmosphere, entertainment and attractions all included in the ticket price/annual pass. You should definitely give it another try!
The train at Dollywood might be my favorite train at any amusement park I've ever been to. I was very impressed the first time I saw it.
It’s such a fun time! We definitely have to ride at least once per visit!

Thank you for the Great tips for the wait times! We will have to try this process out and see how much time we can save!
@@ThemeParkVisionTPV Anytime! Though of course you have to remember it will definatley differ depending on the day. Have fun!

Oh no don’t skip the train unless the line is super long.. 🚂🚂🚂
@@ThemeParkVisionTPV I do because my son often thinks it’s too loud.
Bring your own food. Dollywood lines to eat are very long on most days. However, get the Cin.bread. Dreamland drive in is a must
Great tips! Cinnamon bread and Dreamland Drive In are absolute must dos!
I thought you weren't allowed to bring any food in?
@@lindaprellwitz2955 True now according to there website. They did not check our backpacks at all last year. Took snacks in all year. Sorry
I checked DW's website. WG is next Saturday's ERT. See you there. Definitely don't miss Miss Lillian.
Sorry we missed you at the park hopefully we can meet up on the next visit you’re there!
Great tips!! I always grab the bread at dreammore!!No line & it’s always in their quick service!
Be there in 10 days! ❤
Those mini cinnamon breads are 🔥! Can’t wait to see you at the park!
