playlist like .....forever !!!!
First , let me tell you what I felt of Gabriel Henrique's rendition.
I knew that every note, every movement, every breath of this song,
carried by such moving lyrics and such a captivating melody,
was going to be sublimated in a masterful way by Gabriel.
There are moments of grace when what we had waited and
hoped for , without really believing in it , arrives in Majesty......
I had asked so many times "Hurt" on a famous platform !!
And there, now I am witnessing the realization of my wish ,
repeated week after week....
And what was my joy and my surprise to see, the other night ,
the Brilliant Gabriel blend into this little musical Masterpiece.
Even grander than I imagined!!!!
By adding his multiple vocal flavors and all the Passion of
which he is capable, and which he delivers magnificently,
Gabriel has just made Christina Aguilera's Musical
Jewel his own.
Beyond my expectations, I was completely overwhelmed
by this absolutely Mind-blowing Interpretation .
I knew , deep in my Heart and Soul , that this song had to be
sung by him....
But I didn't expect it to come close to this .....
Perfection !!!

Actually I would suggest Christina to add the whistle note to her version, it was absolutely beautiful, her falsetto was shy and short and he brought a different more intense colour to the song, it was like he was crying in pain, I agree the he doesn’t have to add the whistle in every song, but in this one it was something.

No one denies how hard and incredible that is to be able to hit whistle notes even for women, and he’s a Man!!!! That itself is beyond being amazing, but the point is “If he does that every time in every song, it won’t be something surprising no more” like you expect him to hit it at any point.
Gabriel rarely whistles when singing in Portuguese. His fans love when he does but he knows how and when to place them. He is a master of his craft!! ✌️💖🌹

Christina is about feelings and emotion... Not just range.
I love your reactions and I appreciate your views on all of them, now I had to go and check Christina´s version of this song, for me and quite possibly only for me I thought that to be a bit staged, everyone´s talking about emotions pouring and tears all over the place, by the way the tear in her eye lasted through the whole song, honestly I felt his delivery to be better, the whistle replacing the falsetto was adequate and added to the song and brought it him. The nicest thing about Gabriel is that he is true to the artist at the same time that he brings his own style and last let us not forget the amount of money put into some of these videos, directors, writers, producers, for someone who is trying, practically on his own, I´d say he´s doing a hell of a great job. I´m not a fanatic who gets upset about comments that are not positive and I´m not saying you were negative in any way, I just wanted to share my view. Cheers man.

Hehe, well it's a subjective feeling. When I say I haven't felt much actual emotion from him in relation to the song, then I mean it. I almost never felt like he was feeling the song and it's meaning, and if I did, it didn't leave a mark on me since I don't remember it. And that is only my own opinion, obviously. We all experience things differently. But as I said, I'm glad I heard more emotion here this time. I know he has it, but I don't think he puts it to the front nor that he wants to do that, if you understand me.

@@timothyblack3322 I don't understand your point, Timothy. If you know what lyrics mean it really won't matter. Often all you need to feel the song is just music, even if there are no vocals present, so second language means little to me.

English is my native tongue, but I also am able speak, read, write, and comprehend ecclesiastical Latin. I studied Classical Latin used in 200 b.c.e. through 200 c.e. aka a.d; this was a period before the development of vowels. It was not for me. I had 3 years of Spanish. I’m decent in Mexican Spanish; which is heavily influenced by American English. The further away from the U.S. the faster the speech is and the more difficult I find myself in comprehension of the Spanish language.
