السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته It pains because ahlu sunnah/arabs have no geopolotical goals. No vision nor no unity. We are already seeing israeli, u.s expansion in the area. May allah make this a victory for ahlu-sunnah not a failure like, libya, iraq, kashmir, sudan
We need less sectarianism, our prophet completed the Deen , please stop using terms of Sunni and Shia , you can't hate the companions of the prophets and also not acknowledge the death of the prophets grandsons , a true Muslims is just a Muslim , a follower of Mohammed. , their were only 4 righteous khalifs , Abou Bakr Omar Othman and Ali.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ indeed completed the Deen, and the Quran states: “This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as your religion.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:3) However, the perfection of Islam does not negate the emergence of deviations and sects. The Prophet ﷺ explicitly warned us about this when he said: “The Jews split into seventy-one sects, and the Christians split into seventy-two sects, and my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of which will be in the Fire except one.” The companions asked, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “Those who are upon what I and my companions are upon today.” (Tirmidhi, 2641) This hadith establishes that not everyone who claims to be a Muslim is automatically upon the correct path. Merely identifying as a “Muslim” is insufficient to guarantee adherence to the truth, especially in an age where many sects and ideologies label themselves as “Muslim” while contradicting the Quran and Sunnah. The term “Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah” was coined to distinguish those who adhere to the Quran and authentic Sunnah with the understanding of the Prophet ﷺ and his companions (i.e., the Salaf). Being Sunni simply means following the Quran and Sunnah, and being Salafi means following them upon the understanding of the righteous predecessors, as Allah commands: “And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun and the Ansar and those who followed them in goodness-Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:100) This obligation to follow the Salaf’s understanding is rooted in the Quran and the Sunnah. Allah warns against deviations: “And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows a path other than that of the believers-We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.” (Surah An-Nisa 4:115) In today’s context, where sects such as Shia, Sufis, Kharijites, and others deviate from the teachings of the Salaf, it becomes necessary to use terms like “Sunni” and “Salafi” to distinguish ourselves. For instance: • The Shia revile the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, which directly contradicts Allah’s praise of them in Surah At-Tawbah (9:100). • Ahlul-Bid’ah promote practices and beliefs that are not from the Quran or Sunnah, violating the hadith, “Whoever introduces into this matter of ours something that is not from it, it is rejected.” (Bukhari, 2697; Muslim, 1718) While we agree that sectarianism in its divisive form is harmful, distinguishing truth from falsehood is not sectarianism-it is a duty. Allah commands us to call to the truth and clarify it: “And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.” (Surah Aal-E-Imran 3:104) Therefore, we use these terms not to divide, but to protect the truth from being diluted. There is only one true Islam, and that is the Islam practiced by the Prophet ﷺ and his companions. Sunni and Salafi are simply descriptions of adherence to this path. Claiming that we should abandon these distinctions in favor of merely calling ourselves “Muslims” ignores the reality of widespread deviations and the obligation to clarify the correct methodology. Finally, while it is important to acknowledge historical events like the martyrdom of Al-Husayn رضي الله عنه and honor all the righteous companions, this acknowledgment does not negate the necessity of clarifying the truth and distinguishing it from falsehood. True Islam is not based on mere labels, but on adherence to the Quran and Sunnah as understood by the Salaf. May Allah guide us all to the straight path and unite us upon the truth.
The prophet ﷺ warned us about the heretic sects. Where are 72 of them? We need less useful idiots for the heretics to spread their filthy dawah of kufr, shirk, and zandiqa. Dawah based on taqqiyah. Bluring the lines between Iman and kufr. Not to mention, Assad was not even a Muslim. He was a nusayri. Worse kufr then the jews and Christians as Ibn Tayymiyah(RA) said.
