Mochi IVすごい The PS2 version is arcade perfect because the arcade version runs on the Namco 246 board which is literally beefed up PS2 hardware. So its more or less a home re-release than a "port." However, one reason why it could be considered worse is that it does not contain all the tracks from the updated "Tuned" arcade version of Battle Gear 3. One of my favorite touge courses from the Battle Gear series, Super Dreadnought B, is not in this version of the game. Its in Battle Gear 3 Tuned arcade, and Battle Gear 2 arcade and PS2, and its on Battle Gear 4... just not Battle Gear 3 PS2.

Can you feel the summer insect buzzing sound? This is the same sound you get in Animaes! And driving your tuner car through mountainous forests and with a summer buzz is like a culture in Japan ,reminds me of initial D

Hell in Battle Gear 3 the tuned cars have sillouhettes of the characters from Initial D like the Mecha Tuned 86 having Takumi’s Sillouhette and the Supercharged 86 having Wataru’s sillouhette. While the standard sillouhette in other cars had a generic guy with a racing helmet the other Initial D inspired tuned cars have the characters from Initial D. Even Sudo’s bandana is a Sillouhette in the tuned Evo 3

I play this in the arcade whenever I want to play a more realistic touge race compared to Initial D (don't get me wrong, I still love Initial D arcade!)
How did you get it to run so well on PCSX2? For me it's a big buggy, especially in actual gameplay. Plus there's a ton of slowdown/lag and there's a glitchy line on the bottom of the screen. Plus it jitters up and down a bunch. AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core 16GB RAM GTX 1660 Ti 6GB

Iron Bra its much better than the Initial D games. It has Initial D inspired character cars and a collection of touge courses featured in Initial D, so its basically Initial D but without the awful driving model.

Correct. Most, if not all of the touge courses in the Battle Gear series are real roads, many of which have appeared in Initial D.

How I recognize that it's Happogahara :
1. Narrow lanes in the beginning (1:40 - 3:10)
2. Consecutive hairpins (3:20 - 3:40)
3. Bridge (3:48 - 3:52)
4. Tunnel (4:08 - 4:13)
5. Downhill, then uphill (from 3:58)
