Beautiful scene and a beautiful score not only for this scene but for the entire movie.

Pi's Lullaby is beautiful, emotional and touching. Bombay Jayashree breathed life into lyrics and cradled the movie with her voice. 🤗🤗

I think Irfan sahab was far sighted enough to not have his name titled over a frame of hogs, being a Muslim and all. An utterly trivial matter that the wokes can still make a lot of fuss about.

totally agree, and I was completely happy to make that change... it mattered to Irfan more than to me for cultural reasons, and this film is all about the beautiful richness of the different cultures of the world, and the joy, kindness and understanding that we aspire to as we interact with them. Irfan was one of the greatest actors of our time, I loved every minute of working with him. he is very deeply missed.

Congratulation to the win for best score! Reflecting on what we the erstwhile ignorant masses now know about the cretin brothers Weinstein, one wonders what he did to have Argo win over this incredible film. I am old enough to know Americans don't like movies where they have to decide the ending, if it's left unspecified, and they sure don't like the mere inference that they're being preached to (esp Hollywood), so there's that. One would hope the actual Academy, not Joe Q Public would have been more in tune. Add to all that, it's highly probable they don't want to lose their industry to foreign actors... sad is what it was.
