Alright Steve this is a brilliant bit of kit I’ve had mine for just under 2 years never let me down it’s very expensive but oase are a top brand so you get what you pay for mate . As you say it sucks a lot of water in no time and you can always get spares if needed nice video well explained keep it coming 👍
Great review mate, and that's right, they do move a lot of water. That's why I have mine going into the sieve. Take care, and say Hi to Cat for us. Terry.
Can’t beat the pondovac. I’ve had a pondovac 4 since about 2016 but the Motörhead started failing earlier this year so I upgraded the head only to the 5 which has greater pumping power of about 8000ltrs and thankfully fits the pondovac 4 body so was much cheaper than replacing the whole vac. Really easy to get replacement parts too 👍🏻
Very nice buy Steve BE careful with the mesh bag it sometime comes off with the force of the water stay safe and well . I pipe mine up to a box we made and put the waste pipe through different foams works well
Hi. Will this remove thick sludge from the bottom of a pond that hasn’t been cleaned before? Also, does it suck up small fish and, if so, how do you remove them? Cheers
I would say yes to sludge and fish. Thankfully our fish are of a decent size and swim away. I would suggest netting out small fish if there is any chance of them getting hoovered! Cheers
Definitely worth a think, wonder if I can discharge through a fixed filter of some kind. The drum could not handle the extra volume so that's out. Cheers Vince.

Thanks Terry, I appreciate the comment. Stay safe

Thanks, you too Terry. Stay safe both of you.

Thanks for the tip Carol, sound logic. Stay safe.
Nice one Steve. I've got the pondovac 4, had it since 2019 only used it twice ! Great bit of kit though .
Cheers Andy, I'll use it again soon.
Nice bit of kit I've got an old one but they work well and move a lot of water 👍
They certainly do Andy, stay safe.
Great piece of kit the pond builders have one. I was using it constantly to suck the well out.... Take care mate...
Cheers Dave, your puddle is looking superb.
@@CATANDEYEKOI Cheers fella, getting there.

Nice one mate, stay safe.
Great product review, puts my little Pond O Vac to shame🤣👍
Mine will be superseded in a bit I reckon, technology racing on Phil.

In my opinion, it’s hard to beat German build quality. Looks a great bit of kit mate 👍🏼
Totally agree mate, I'm well happy.
Do you think it would be good for a swimming pool that I just flocked (alum to drop dead algae to the bottom) and vacuuming the debris to a field?
Thanks for sharing!
Is it self priming?
Yes mate and continuous use. Cheers.
First 🧁👍👍👍
Gold Medal Vince
Looks a fecking cracking bit of kit but also makes you think you could build something like this quite easy and have it returning via the filter 🧁👍👍👍

@@CATANDEYEKOI the sieve Terry built is the best I have seen. I will be building a sieve like his
