What fun, a new machine!!
Yes, I really like the juke but didn’t want to deal with/ the motor. Since then I learned baby lock has a heavy duty like the juki. Got check that!

Baby lock said nothing was wrong. I let her hear it over the phone. She said she had a soprano too & that’s the norm. I’m so glad I didn’t have to go through changes with exchanging it. It so loud to me. My singer comes on like that but not as loud! 😆
My Juki DX7 has a noising power up as well, but I’ve adjusted to the sound 😁 Your machine…she’s pretty….😊 Happy sewing….
Well, it's all good! But think all the money you put in to it, They could have made it a little quieter, you think?!
Congratulations on your new BabyLock machine. 🥳🎉 My whole sewing room is a BabyLock shop. You should bring your Soprano back to the dealer where you bought if from and have them check that start up noise. It does not sound right. It might just be a matter of a small adjustment. I hope that's the case.
It states that it is not a malfunctions, just the needle and the feed dogs. I'm going to retread it and see if thats the problem.

No, I've checked out other vids and I can hear it on the videos. That message was printed in the book for a reason. It sews and wind the bobbin very quietly!
