For practicality, I would add a headtorch (although you could muddle through with a bike light) and for comfort a lightweight chair (personal preference). Glad you mentioned the socks - I always have some fluffy hiking socks for exactly the same reason. Happy trails.
Been watching your videos a lot the last few days! (New subscriber). Finally found a video where you say what ya jacket is! I love it man. Also love the videos, Literally waiting for the GB divide videos to drop daily atm.
If you're doing this in Australia, a small first aid kit and a compression bandage for snake bites. It's a must was out a couple of weeks ago had to do some on the fly bike repairs that really damaged my finger, and the bleeding would not stop. A couple of spokes of the bike were literally covered in blood. Thankfully had some surgical tape in my first aid kit, and that stopped the problem. O and grats on 1000.
Thanks for this .. just got into gravel biking from ultra running. Just picked up a very light weight / small tent … still haven’t braved the outdoors over night yet , wild camp. New to the channel but any pointers about where to sleep , then thanks. Live in Surrey , often on the iow and in Somerset… Also, where’s is the best source of all the trails to follow on wahoo (still finding myself gravitating to road ish !!) thanks in advance
Hi Josh, I do the socks, puff jacket and proper waterproof shell. I also carry bite cream, ibuprofen cream (I’m getting old and my knees ache sometimes) antiseptic cream plus first aid kit. The empty bag I get but I don’t have one.

Yeah i always just use my bike light if i need a torch, and a chair on a bike I'm intrigued , where you put it ?
i hate to buy bottles of water too, and i live in Italy!!! also on summer you can go in a bathroom everywhere and fill your old bottle.
Instead of bulky socks I have down booties. Can't be walked in, but since just for sleeping, no problem. Pack away to nothing!

You're right about that, you always have to have an extra socks for sleeping.
Gotta keep them toes warm

Ear plugs. For noisy wildlife, or humans if forced to take a campsite! And a snood, for a million reasons...
Good shout on ear plugs even just to block out the rain hitting the tent
@@KeepSmilingAdventures use the snood to cover my eyes in the summer months, when it's light at 4!
