I took the Dave Ramsey course years ago and the perspective you get on money is on a whole different level. I am now debt free and no car note no credit card debt. I have an emergency fund which makes up almost 4 months if I were to lose my job.

Hi i just wanted to say something that works for me. (I get paid every week on Monday) and most of my bills are do at the end of the month so I pay a little bit to each of them every week. Then at the end of the month they are paid off and I'm not hit with multiple big bills.
Watched this at 3am! I will watch again because this one helped me to understand what I need and how to start the process of budgeting. I am in the hole and can’t seem to dig myself out. Had a panic attack yesterday! This made me feel better.

Praying that things are bette for you as I am in the same boat. It’s hard getting out of debt on just basic bills. Seem like every time you get ahead you get pushed back further!! My anxiety is through the roof!! I just started watching these videos, purchased a planner and savings binder. I have yet to start because I use Daily pay to get money I need to live on like food and transportation to work which this takes a lot of my money.
Girl. I just had to share this score today because it was very lucky. I used my fetch points for bath and body works. It was only $15 , well I went in today to get a lotion with it. The sale was $5.95 for body care. I got a lotion, a soap, and spritz for my fetch points +$3 😂 I just scored. It’s rare I don’t shop sales , I just got lucky, had to share. 🍀

I’ve been on such a tight budget lately. I cut out all my subscriptions because I wasn’t even watching tv anyway because I’ve been at work and haven’t had time. Wish me luck I’m trying so hard to pay off debt and make enough money. Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning 😢

For a "Don't", maybe don't shop online after 10 pm? I don't know if that is an issue with you, but I know I make poor decisions late at night. 😊 For me, setting up a Christmas club in January: automatic payments to the Christmas fund happens each month. I have a relatively small family of all adults, and as a retiree I don't have work obligations. But I do have quite a few friends whom I shop for. I try to do as many homemade gifts as possible, too. But I am with you on the part about enjoying every aspect of the season, not just the gifts. I tend to go a li'l crazy with the homemade cookies!
I am a sucker for Christmas too- always go over budget

I have a separate bill account and I love it. I do cash if I have to save up for like a trip but my general savings I have 3 accounts (emergency, car, and holiday).
I pay bills on payday too because the longer it sits there it’s too tempting to play games. I schedule what payments I can for payday but my rent and utilities don’t seem to do well like that so before I get out of bed on payday I’m online paying those.

Girl… you’re better than me! I’m definitely a “ain’t nobody getting nothing!!!” Type of person. Once I started having my own children… mostly kids in my family are getting gifts… and only 3 adults get something from me… My husband and my parents! That’s it! No other family or friends… I ain’t got it!!! I have to save, save, save now while I’m in my 30’s so hopefully we don’t have to work forever 😂😂 Plus we currently saving for a new house.❤

💕💕💕💕love the content and accountability. I did no spend October. I promise some days of stress, I wanted to just buy something just because BUT I didn’t. I was able to pay off 3 debts this month as well. I’m paying over more coke November. Continuing the no spend actually does work. Thanks for being transparent. I’m been so obedient to not spend, I need a new budget book, but that’s coming in November, 1st to be exact lol

Thank you so much for all the detailed information! I have been working for a while now since I graduated. I used to do some budgeting here and there especially when I was tight on cash but never stuck too much on it (besides paying the biggest bills such as rent and food). I'd waste so much money, especially on ant spending and since I never tracked more of my expenses, it left me feeling like "wow, where did my money go?" but seeing a budget so organized feels so good!
