well ...sometimes i find a movie ..save it..and later youtube takes it down...or something ..i have no idea ....i do know that some folks that post movies WORK HARD IN GETTING THE MOVIES ...THEY BUY THEM ..OR A COLLECTOR GIVES THEM A COPY....I SAW ONE THAT SAID HE HAS SPENT SO MUCH MONEY...AND I DO THANK THEM SO MUCH...ALSO IF YOU EVER RUN ACROSS THE SILENTS ...BE SO WONDERFUL..THANK AGAIN
You know, Shirley Jones, I want to thank you for not just watching then flitting to the next movie, but, actually trying to make your gratitude known to us "Uploaders" on TH-cam. We try so hard to bring and keep alive these wonderful Classic movies for you all. You make me feel like it's a good thing to hunt for them, try desperately to obey the copyright laws, and upload them with TH-cam's blessing. Most of us who are Classic Movie fans are always hoping beyond hope that little, ridiculous companies from different parts of the world won't come into TH-cam and "claim" tiny bits and pieces of these Public Domain films. If this happens, we do not get help from TH-cam in defending our good intentions with the knowledge we have before uploading movies. In fact, we are punished by TH-cam (they do not offer a list of movies for us to avoid... :(( By punish, I mean they bind us from uploading for a certain period of time (months!) without being able to speak with anyone here. This is a sad fact. I've gone through this several times. If you ever see adverts in the front of films, or the middle, they are there to help the uploaders earn just pennies, I assure you, pennies, for their time and effort keeping these movies here. If you suddenly see that a movie you had been watching has been taken down, it is likely a copyright issue with all or part of the movie. The person who uploaded the movie must take it down :( I'm sorry about that! If you will message me here on TH-cam, I can help you to know how to start and finish a movie! Thanks again for caring!
thank you again.....when i save movie for my own person to watch again....and find it taken down..sometimes i go look for it...hoping someone else puts it up....my intent is not to use movies but only to my person watch over and over......i guess maybe some people take movies and do stuff to them for some kind of reason ...its all confusing to me to me.......i have notice that many young peeps are liking this old stuff.......EVEN THE OLD MUCIC OF THE THIRTIES AND FORTIES ...LOL..is that wonderful ...
+Shirley Jones I'm all about getting the younger generations to experience the value and mostly very wholesome entertainment of these Classic movies! Keeping them alive and passing them on is so important. Our American history is woven through out these films. I think if young people will watch a movie like "Meet John Doe" or "Laddie" they will want to watch other early films and hopefully see how violence, language or reckless behavior in a movie actually detracts from a good, well written and acted story! Thank you again for watching!
Yes it's nice to have others agreeing with our comments About honoring our parents I'm guilty of not doing more For them We see the dissolution of our marriages our families The love and honor of our parents and wonder why? The reason is right here in these movies The writers had morals and felt a duty to society To families to God and country

I really really hope and do pray that our children and their's will stop, put down the phones, and contemplate the choices made by recent generations that have resulted in such confusing times and faulty Foundation(s). Maybe they will wisely try to untangle this mess and go back to simply choosing, or choosing simply :/
+al meggs It seems today that honoring your parents doesn't matter much, sadly. I sure wish that children understood (before they turned 30!) how much their parents did for them, sacrificed to give them the happiest life possible as they were growing up. It's very sad that children so often think their parents are their "enemies" when instead they are "for them", wanting only the best life with the least negative (or detrimental) consequences children have to bear into adulthood. I believe that most parents really try to give their children the best life possible--are good people. It is nice to see parents honored in a movie! If only that message was more prevalent in today's movies :-/
