I actually would have decreased the sound a bit more. A small muffler or so could have been in the middle or just some packing material in the one that is currently empty. I think that could improve the sound quite good :)
Now try to make some pedals and so for it xD I have never seen anybody do it.. putting pedals like on a normal car on a tractor like this.

After more than 30 years wrenching and an official mechanical education to go along! I can say that, the so called CAI (cold air intake), that ignorant kids (and not so kids) dump in their cars by the dozen.
ARE the most ridiculous thing one can "had" to it's vehicle! The sarcastically funny part of it. Is that people REALLY spend money to send the performance figures down the drain. How ridiculous can it be?! LOL 😂
I remove(d) dozens of those ridiculous jobs from cars. Some quite expensive!! Some owners, over time, either learn how stupidly they buried the performance and other issues. Or usually sell the cars loosing more money do to the rice... LOL 😂
I had the opportunity to ask some of them, during the peak of Winter (read -20C) How nice it was performing? It's kind of funny to see their scammed expressions. With -20C are you sure you need a cold air intake? LOL 😂
You need rubber bushings on those brackets. The vibration is going to drive you crazy metal to metal. Great project 👍👑

Be careful backing up or you'll have a way different exhaust sound. Now you need to get a twin cylinder engine, preferably a B&S horizontally opposed. I like your work and your skills are terrific.
I have a opposed twin, i took the muffler off and it sounded amazing

Badass! You should manufacturer that exhaust system.
You should have made a straight through muffler with drilled pipe going through another bigger pipe filled with metal foam , it would make it a bit less noisy and improve the droning so it would sound better and on top of that you dont lose any HP with such muffler. Bot still awensome job!

The only thing I would tell you is to be careful at the spindle plastic cap on the deck, if the muffler gets hot, it will burn it, that’s why the muffler in in the front. Also grass will be able to land on the hot muffler and burn

Grind hard plumbing is making one.
I think it will be a smoother ride, if you exchange those hard metal exhaust mounts for some rubber bushing once, simple hook and rubber in between. Would really help make less vibration overall.
Looks and sounds great. The only thing I'd be concerned with is driving into potholes because the tip sits so low at the rear.

Had a scrap tractor with a briggs 17 horse, motor ran great, put that motor on a old MTD chassis but couldn't use the factory exhaust so I made one out of threaded Galvanized pipe, Boy did that thing blow out flames, then I used a muffler from a push mower, worked great.

You can rev it up on the side of the engine next to the carb is the throttle an u can rev it was better . Instead of moving the throttle arm up an down

can't believe the hate u get, its epic :D i did it a custom exhaust on a v-twin mower it screamed like a straight piped harley.
Looks awesome, but I don't think it would be good idea to have exhaust dragging along the grass. Especially when you might have very dry summer day and plan to cut some grass.
Now just ditch the mowing deck, bypass the governor, make a foot throttle and pulley swap it. all that work for a mower an exhaust like that needs to be on a racing machine. it looks and sounds great. good job
