Cole, my uncle died an hour ago. I had him hooked on your videos. He didn’t care a bit about farming. He liked watching because we always hunted together. He always said “that there’s the good corn that the bucks will come to!”
Right after I said goodbye to his body, I got this alert for your video. Thank you for giving us some relaxing entertainment to enjoy together. Say a quick prayer for us if you don’t mind. Thank you again for giving us content to enjoy together. I’ll stay a subscriber and a viewer. Your content will always remind me of him. God bless.

Mike Mulligan was one of my daughter's favorite books when she was little. What was awesome was that at the local "dairy bar" in town there was a mechanic's garage and they had an old red steam shovel parked in their yard. My kids had fun pretending it was MaryAnn while they were eating their ice creams. We always had to go over and visit her....fun memories ! x) ......Congrats on cleaning out the machine shed for the very last time !! Now THAT'S a good reason for a party !!

Cole, that's a nice backhoe but advice from a dirt guy: you get so much more utility out of a mini excavator and a tracked skid steer. Plus all the attachments that you can fit up and rent. If you have dealer support closeby look at Kubota KX040 and 057 (4 and 6 metric ton). Decent little machine with power angle tilt blades.

Comment #3: I am so excited to see how much time will be saved with your new bin site. Trucks will get loaded much quicker. You won't have to spend hours setting up, weeks filling up, and weeks emptying out the big machine shed. You won't have to deal with a dump pit where you have to clean out rancid water every year. You won't have to jury rig multiple augers to move corn around to bins and load trucks. You'll have a much larger grain dryer so you will be able to keep up with how much more corn the combine can bring in within a given time frame. You'll also save time with the new planter since it'a 50% larger. Yeah, you guys have spent and will spend a ton of money within a year, but the time savings dividends will be huge. You may save so much time that you will be able to add acreage to your farms and grow/harvest/sell more in a season.
Good lord, I'm getting to the point of almost being emotionally invested in your future :/

Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel was one of my favorite books when I was a little girl. I still have it somewhere. I read it to my boys when they were young and they're in their 30's now.

Soon you will be looking out your bedroom window and you will have beehives in place of the junk pile! Excited to see what it will become!

The smell of damp earth has a name - Petrichor. It’s the smell that you get after rain on dirt and later at night when a few starts to set in. (Also it’s one of my favourite smells)
