Hey Lee, thank you for honestly reviewing these Veja Rio Branco sneakers. I am looking for a comfortable, grippy pair of lightweight sneakers for day hiking. I was looking at the Veja Dekkan Alveomesh Sneakers, but after watching your review, I'm considering the Rio Branco. Do you have an opinion on which of these two designs might be more suitable? Thank you
I haven’t tried the Dekkans but I don’t think I’d use the Rio Brancos for hiking. I think the Lems Mesa Trail sneakers would be a much better fit for that.

I love these sneakers... the look and they're very comfortable... but the nubs on the sole turns them into skates on floors. The first time i wore them to work, I had a bad fall.... my feet slipped out from underneath me and I landed on my butt.... and I have many other pairs of sneakers to compare them to. Be careful!!!
Ive just tried a pair of these on. Trainer tongue is far too long, almost like football(soccer) boots where you fold the tongue over. Marks down an otherwise very nice looking pair of trainers
How do you feel about eco-friendly sneakers?

@@StrayReviews oh thank you so much, I'll take a look. Thank you for all your efforts; I enjoy your reviews :)
@@genkestrel7254 Thank you!
Are they breathable? and how soft is the midsole?
I find them breathable, and the midsole pretty much hits the spot for me.
@@StrayReviews Are they much comfortable than New Balance? How heavy are they?
@@iamJOHNVER I prefer these over the New Balance because they're lighter and aren't packed with so much cushioning.

Thanks for the warning! Be careful out there!

Yep, they’re great sneakers but that tongue is my least favorite part.
