    You show the nozzle about 5mm away from the component but say to hold the nozzle 3-5 inches (75-126 mm) away from the component. Which is it?

      If you're starting out, you should hold the nozzle 3-5 inches away. As you practice and become more experienced, you can get closer and closer to the component. The distance depends on the individual and a lot of practice.
