Starchild was the worst design to fight something like project lift off, those wheels are just blades of grass waiting to be weed-whacked, it’s a pretty interesting design though.
Starchild is the worst design to fight almost everything. I think the only matches I've seen it win, it won on some niche technical point or because its opponent was too badly damaged from a previous fight.
They applied awhile ago with multibot Daedalus and Icarus, but they were rejected, I think because meltybrains don’t have active weapons due to how the active weapon rule in Battlebots works.
@@Small_octo well, according to the wiki, it looks like they talked to the Battlebots creators about letting them in and are had another multibot called Red and Blue built for this next season.
that is motion and its controled they can change direction but they cant get to other corner of arena so that you are saying is that they need to show mobility. I think that shuldn't be knokout because then fight is longer and more fun
0:53 Starchild: "Okay, if you're gonna spin, I'm gonna spin too!"
Project Liftoff: You can't outspin a Melty-Brain, simpleton!
"On this episode we see a buzzsaw go up against noodle-wheels! Who will survi...and noodle-wheels is already dead."

Starchild’s design reminds me of HUGE from battlebots
@@dasher29 Starchild’s design reminds me of Starchild from battlebots
Starchild vs. Project Liftoff = HUGE vs. Son Of Whyachi
Basically Starchild(BB) vs Gigabyte in the current BB season. Their wheels got absolutely DESTROYED.

Amazing how dominant starchild can be just to get absolutely slammed by project liftoff. Beautiful fight.
Starchild motion is as controlled as that of a beheaded chicken.
Imagine a heavy weight version of Project Liftoff
Sounds like a Gigabyte from BattleBots type thing. Starchild has a heavy weight version, which didn't do so well..

Oh no 😟

Starchild with those oversized wheels was just begging to get weed whacked
This looks like Battlebots Mini Pro version of the tournament.
If you saw how BB S3 Icewave vs HUGE turned out you know how this will turn out as well
Starchild got his ankle twisted
Bro the whole show motion thing basically sums up the new battlebots rule
Starchild? What was that thing supposed to do apart from taking damage? lol
Bad matchup
It’s actually got a pretty good win record. Just an awful matchup
That kind of build is actually a hard counter to flippers and deals decently with hammers and some vert spinners.
It’s actually a pretty effective robot. This was just the worst possible matchup for it.
Project liftoff is amazing. I imagine a melty brain with cleats uses an insane amount of power.

Project Liftoff A Full Body Spinner
Cool! Project Liftoff's a Melty-Brain spinner.
I'll try spinning thats a good trick!
starchild go on to be in battlebots
Me watching two people waste their money on robot just to get destroyed:*eating popcorn*
Edit:(no offense)
Sponsorships make em even more money

I absolutely despise the giant wheel bots. I don't enjoy them especially in the heavy bots
Then stop watching. These types of bots are entertaining and you have a problem with them? Wow, just shows how TOXIC the community is nowadays.
Spinchild
Huge clone
Bruh it's Gabriel from Robot Wars you noob
Ok I get it.
No
Starchild is like Microsoft, who stole the GUI from Apple (Huge), who stole the GUI from Xero/PARC (Gabriel)
It's more of a Baby Huge then a clone. But ok.
Project liftof, my perfect Frisby 🦾
