- Tonight we speak to Joe who had an encounter in East Texas. He wrote to me a few weeks back and here is what he wrote: “Wes I’m a Paramedic on the coastal bend area in east tx and I discovered your show about 7 months ago when one of these things started vocalizing at us and throwing rocks and large limbs at our unit at about 345 am when our ambulance got a flat on a country road after transporting a patient to his residence way out in the country,my partner and other first responders have ran into these things in the past but I would always laugh it off until that night,Wes this thing came out of the woods and charged our ambulance.my partner accidentally switched on our siren and then we heard large foot falls then a huge rock hit the side of the unit followed by a large log it screamed at us after that we both got in the unit and sat for about 5 minutes I told my partner to shut everything off except the flood light when he did that he hit the code 3 lights because his hands wouldn’t stop shaking I then shut them off immediately when I turned to face the woods it was already standing about 30 ft away curly up its mouth at us me and my partner couldn’t move for about the first 5 seconds and then our first responders auto pilot must off kicked in,we started to lock the doors and advised central that to contact P.D. the thing must not off liked the fact we were moving around in there and that’s when he charged the unit the ambulance ended rocking almost to one side I don’t want people to think we’re crazy or lose my job but I’ve had nightmares ever since and I hate taking 911 calls in the country now or transfers.”

This paramedic Joe has PTSD. It broke my heart to hear his story because I could hear the fear still in his voice. Man that hurt to listen to. I hope he's able to get better and his partner too. First Responders see enough horror in their work day to stop any person in their tracks then to see a real monster, I can't imagine their terror. I can't blame him for wanting it dead.

They already had the tire practically off and jacked up. They were having a problem getting a lug it off. Yeah they were not going anywhere. Unfortunately the sound quality is so bad
I would've lit that ambulance tf up...every light...every siren..the horn..the hazard lights...and I'm putting it in reverse for the backup beep...I'm grabbing that defibrillator and turning it all the way up...and going for broke..fk this..

From what I understand they could have kept pace with a working vehicle so they could have kept up with one with a flat.

I have listened to many of these testimonials. I feel badly that many of these people have ptsd. I can hear it in their voices when they recall their experiences.
You're Pompeya music, at the end, helps to soothe the stirred emotions about this subject, especially after hearing such stories.

EMDR therapy for PTSD. I know this is 2 years old. I hope this man has transferred and is doing better.
I feel so horrible for this paramedic. He definitely has PTSD symptoms. He is now worried it will follow him and recognize him.. Definitely anxiety. I definitely have to say, I believe he was looking for comforting words from Bob and Bob scared him even more. In my opinion. Lol I hate to laugh..but Bob scared me for him. Like yup..You were definitely on the menu!!! It would have broke your bones. Scarey crap in this world

I never know what to think about these shows. But, that Joe guy was very convincing and told a compelling story. These people are seeing SOMETHING. Not sure what though.
So this guy is good enough to save people's lives,but you don't believe him?
Let's look at it,from his side,what does he gain by telling this story?

Bob missed one key part in the conversation and then makes bold statements about the creatures evil intentions and later claims the ambulance had nothing to do with the encounter. I don't agree. Before the encounter began, Joe very briefly said that his partner accidentally hit the siren when he was searching for something in the ambulance after they broke down. Then he said he turned off the siren, but he didn't say how long they let it run for. Neither Wes or Bob questioned him about the siren (they may have even missed the comment because he said it very quickly). That siren is what set off the chain of events because the creatures heard the very loud siren sound and got curious or territorial so came to investigate.
Definitely some questionable parts in this account. And listening to that guy yap was very difficult. He almost gave me PTSD with that stuttering and crappy audio.
You guys ARE absolutely STELLAR! Great show, and I believe you helped this first responder (EMT) TREMENDOUSLY! He had a truly horrifying experience; you could hear it in his voice at the beginning of the interview! At the end of the interview, he sounded greatly relieved and assured that he was NOT nutsers, NOT losing his mind. Bob affirmed this young man's feelings were real & to be expected. Further, Bob told him he would continue with the night- mares & PTSD for at least 2 years. Wow, I would've loved to have seen that (new) ambulance after BF had their way with it! Thank GOD those 2 EMT'S did NOT get out of the ambulance (van)!!! Wes and Bob G., I agree with you, those 2 guys WERE on BF's dinner menu. This incident had my heart racing; a truly terrorizing encounter 🤯😱 I don't mean to be so wordy, but this story really got to me in a number of ways: 1) this young man was truly traumatized, and you & Bob helped to relieve this man's serious anxiety (yes, he still has to deal with his ordeal, but I believe you guys had a huge positive impact on him with your empathy & kindness!); 2) You guys affirmed for him that you believed his incredible experience, of course, the terror that he lived through and that he did the right thing by NOT GETTING OUT OF THE AMBULANCE A 2ND TIME; 3) those two fellas absolutely saved their own lives! Gigantic Kudos to you, Wes, and Bob! I believe you turned this man's life around. Much love to you both. Lindsay, from Sacramento.
Sirens on an ambulance are deafening especially if in close proximity. Couldn't imagine not using them to drive off whatever was out there.

I listen to the older ones because I love the no comercials. I actually use the voices of the witnesses as sleep therapy. I mean it works better than anything I’ve ever tried. Maybe because I find the content fascinating and people are concentrating so they are not using too much inflection.
Problem with the newer videos is, (and I know you deserve to earn a living like anyone else) the Comercials crank up the volume and I literally jump out of bed when the start selling you crap.
Imagine if there were volume less commercials that you could use, people would technically be “watching” the entire ad... one could load dozens of them, without disrupting the great content too much.
Do you still listen with adds bc there is a way to get rid of adds, (life hack)
Also, if you pay $5.00 a month, you can listen ad-free! That's what I do 😊
To help in getting over this I suggest that you self talk that u r safe & well. See yourself being bigger than it and banishing it. If u believe in prayer...pray before sleep and ask that the Holy Spirit cover u in the bright white light in protection of body, mind, and spirit. See it internally, externally, and spreading to the rm then the home and beyond. Meditation, yoga, and working out helps clear the mind. Coach a kids team or give of your time if u have it. It is PTSD. Don’t allow yourself to believe it will last forever.
Ever had the thought that the sasquatch possibly did something to cause the flat tire? As he said it was a new unit, and people say they are very accurate when they throw things......

These things do not like bright lights as it hurts their eyes. I had an encounter with these things on our farm in iowa. Best to just leave them alone.

Excellent programme, a real life incident which was truly terrifying AND the soothing easy going voice of Bob! GREAT SHOW! If I ever go out with this gang of guys, Bob is my Siamese twin ... and he'll have to carry me in one of those child carriers ... papoose?

I can’t even imagine the horror of seeing a monster outside the passenger window. Hope this man comes to terms and is able to live his life.
There is no official help out there for dealing with the mental aftermath people go through after an encounter. I have heard stress and fear in the voices of some of these witnesses following a "friendly" encounter and one like this has to intensify the effects quite a bit. The fact that this guy is a trained first responder is I his favor but the creatures are not even recognized as real so finding help could be worse than difficult, a mental health professional could easily come up with a misdiagnosis because their own acceptance that these guys saw what they saw and are going through something that needs to be addressed. The could end up being treated for hallucinations and delusions. My point is coming to the cryptid community is the best thing they can do for their own good. His partner needs to contact someone.
all these channels have a bigger or at least different service they unwittingly provide. I heard a follow up story where the witness said his symptoms didn't go away but became much more tolerable immediately following they came on and told their story. Not just once but a couple times witnesses reported a lessening of symptoms. Some were telling a recent story, some were carrying the burden for decades and merely setting up a broadcast and telling their story then whatever aftercare the interviewers are doing the witness is very much helped.
Even though I've never seen one or experienced them my own two cents...I think this guy sounds like he's already done this to an extent, he's visualized scenarios where he was victorious. He talks about next time he'll have a big gun and no questions asked he plans on using the gun period. You guys can help him by directing him to witness accounts where they did shoot and they did scare em off. You guys have unaired stories like that and could tell him. On the other side of the coin hearing "friendly" stories so that he knows the sounds he's hearing in the forest could be a shy one or one who is merely curious. That is more the norm in many parts of the country but I'm sure they exist even in Texas. I promise he'll never become a habituater nor go out playing a flute with flowers in his hair but the stories those guys can tell will help his paranoia.
There are many venues for help. Trauma is trauma. PTSD is a diagnostic and the therapist doesn’t need to be convinced of the Bigfoot phenomena AT ALL.
EMDR is a specific therapy that is quick, requires little formal talk therapy and is beautifully effective. Hope people start passing along that there’s hope.

I always wonder why they don’t break glass. I only once heard where a window was broken. It was in a home that was frequented.
Good point. Thousands of aggressive encounters but not really any mention of breaking glass. Lots of stories of them shaking cars, smacking the outside walls of houses etc.
Maybe they think the glass is either unbreakable or will hurt them. Who knows.
From all the encounters that I've listened to, I think their main objective is to harrass and torment people.

Yeah ,I was thinking like they said what if it was a mother and her children? This was terrifying for someone whom has been trained to not lose control in a chaotic situation. The mother may have tried to run to protect the children and they all would of parished smh, s are that monsters do exist !!!!

Bob distracts from the episode. The show works because Wes let’s the witness share their stories uninterrupted so we hear the raw emotions of the witness as he speaks and Bob constantly interrupting the story ruined the flow. Respectfully.

How to help the after shock. Before u get out of car for work...sit, take deep breaths, self talk a good day with u being capable. Sit in breeze or sun for short times. Get massages or hot tub in care of your body. Before sleep pray, self talk of safety & good sleep. Ask the Holy Spirit to dwell within your body and expand to covering the body in protection. Pic it was a bright white light. With each day tell yourself that u r well, did well, & will be well. Best wishes.

All the encounters i have heard contradict what bob here is saying. Now all those people survived obviously, but there are countless encounters where people see one, freeze up and these things have em dead to rights and they do not eat them. Now maybe it depends on the individual, but the only time they seem to be super aggressive is when they are shot at. If they wanted to hunt people it would so so easy. The fact that this guy survived was not a matter of luck. It was the norm.
How can 82 ppl dislike this? Surely if u don't believe, then why u listening? This story is from a distinguished guy who's working as a paramedic, and to think it's all made up, blows my mind...the detail and declaring u have PTSD.... That's alot of people 82!?

Anita Lavellee I thought the same thing. But more likely these back roads are usually very rough and unkept. You can hit a pothole and get a flat.
If the paramedics were "on the menu", and BF could've turned that ambulance over, then why didn't they? If they were hungry enough to stop hunting the original prey, decided the humans were now prey, for simply getting in their way, what stopped them from turning over that vehicle, and dining on longpig?
I try not to judge the folks in these stories, instead I try to imagine what I would do in the same situation. I would hope I could get off a phone call to my wife or children or at least start the video camera on my phone and record my last message, hoping someone would find it later if the worst happens. Or perhaps turn on the dash cam in the vehicle or cab cams like some of the ambulances have, although they probably wouldn't have worked if all of that stuff was destroyed in the lift and drop. But who knows, I might be so terrified I could only sit there afraid to move a muscle. But in this case at least they were able to make phone calls for help. If I survived, hopefully the next day I could sneak some footage of the damage to the vehicle to show my kids what dad survived. One thing for sure, I would swear I would never let a twenty-two year old new employee drive my brand new ambulance out in the middle of nowhere again. So glad these guys got out alive. I hope this paramedic gets the help he needs, hopefully telling his story helped a lot in the right direction. His distress is apparent in the letter he wrote to Wes above.
Not exactly sure what your point was... but that's ok. I frequently ramble on much worse about nothing. My question is what does a 22 yr old new employee driving a brand new ambulance have to do with anything?. First thing is I'm not sure if he was new. Are you blaming him for the flat tire? Wasn't anyone's fault. If anything he handled himself better than most people I'm sure. Just confused with the comment that's all. 🙏
Joe may benefit from EMDR Therapy that deals with PTSD. It’s very helpful.

I thought the paramedic spoke very intelligently and his story was so credible. Much of how he described the Bigfoot is exactly how a lot of others have described it, but You pansies were probably so occupied with the word pronunciation that you missed key descriptions. Like many others have told, he reported the blue skin, the recognizable look in the eyes of “I’m gonna kill you.!” And, the way they were charged. He described how they rocked back and forth and from all the stories that I’ve heard, when you see a Sasquatch rocking you had better know they’re just contemplating the moment their gonna get you! Many of us believe these beings are Nephilim and the Nephilim were cannibals.
My brother had a similar encounter on our property when he was hunting. It didn’t stop him from hunting, but it took him a while to go back into the woods and his hunting trips greatly diminished.
You all learned nothing because you couldn’t get past one word! It didn’t bother me at all. If you all wanted to make fun of the man, you sure succeeded. Makes me wonder how you treated other kids growing up, because it’s not a becoming trait and certainly not one as an adult.

The paramedic was lying, and I could give you a list of discrepancies, gaffes, stalling tactics, and misplaced emotional outpours that would convince any open minded listener of that. Bob's mispronunciation, and incessant interruptions, and diatribe extolling his "knowledge" of the big guy's traits and habits, was simply fodder for people to feel superior to an "expert". Something everyone enjoys. As for his recounting of everything that you've heard on the other episodes,... where do you think he got all that info? I'll bet he's heard every show twice, or maybe two times. ( hee-hee-hee, snicker, twice or two times, I kill myself.)

You can install a program called "AdBlock" (it's available as an ad-on for Chrome browser). I'm assuming you can use it with other browsers as well. Gets rid of *all* TH-cam ads for me. You can also set it to allow or block ads on only specific sites if you want. :)
Adblock for utube. Works great. Reload a new window to activate the extension. No more ads, ever.
