Diner is such a great game. I always come back to it. It’s a game with a unique theme, great shots, simple rules and fantastic music by Chris Granner. Thanks for the tutorial.
Owned a Diner since 2012 and it is a fun table without a doubt, one trick is to nudge the machine back and forth gently when the ball is in the cup because of this I am able to get 2.4+ million from the cup near enough every time if the ball is shot up the right ramp with enough speed
This table Always makes me smile a bit, just because of the fun layout, the happy jolly music/voices from the characters and the fast gameplay, it also reminds me a little bit of the Taxi table. Good gameplay for this classic table Bowen!
The only thing that was missing from this tutorial was showing the advancement of the clock to further explain the ramp shots and collecting "Dine Time."
playing the real version of this at flip flip ding ding in georgetown seattle, the spinner shot is a real pain to hit, but everything else suggested in this tutorial worked perfect. Learn to master that left ramp, and be able to move the ball to the left flipper for both ramp and hole and you'll be set on this game. light the m-ball by getting right ramp off the bat, then play it without ever stirrin the cup.
The Today's Special kickout is similar to Bally's Centaur. The ball kicked out goes into shooter lane. If the award is Start Multiball, then the ball is kicked out after the lock is cleared, otherwise the kickout goes first. That awards Rush 1, if the lock is cleared beforehand. You have to hit Today's Special hole to get Rush 2. You can actually see the metal plate in overhead view, to the right of the mentioned kickout.
Always felt it kind of weird we didn't have a food-themed pinball machine between Diner and Domino's. Good food is one of the most universal concepts there is. (Of course, whether Domino's is good food or not is up to the individual to decide, but the idea remains, that food is a theme I feel is underused.)
You actually taught me something new about this table, Bowen. Pinball Arcade doesn't mention you can increase Dine Time's jackpot by dialing in the left ramp like you did. Also, Dialed In is the new Lawler Pinball produced by Jersey Jack :P
That game seems fun man, I've played it on the pinball arcade virtual pinball but never the real machine. Would love to play the actual arcade machine.
I have this game at my local arcade, would love to see a video on “Hook,” which is my favorite game at the arcade. A video on the Nightmare on Elm Street game would also be amazing.
Funny that Boris asks for american food at a time when relations between Russia and America were not the best... If i was him i would ask for Borshj( that is how it is pronounced), and bliny ( russian pancakes)!!
This is probably in my top three favorite pinball machines ever!
My favorite game. Finally got one of our own. Dream come true. Thanks for your fantastic tutorials, Bowen and PAPA.
I’m going to get one fuk it lol. Yolo

Excellent! This is one of my favorite machines available in my area. Nice to finally learn how the bonus systems work. Thank you!
Couldn't be a better table for such fast multiballs, more chances to hear the awesome multiball theme.
