To those saying it should be more violent- These are the normal mma matchs. It's not ufc, you can seriously hurt each other in these scenarios. Some tournaments have no blood rules even. If you draw blood you are disqualified. There is ofcourse the other end of the spectrum too, it's just a different type of competition. These types of fighters often don't want the beating aspect of it but more the skill competition aspect, to strike and knockdown for points, or ring out stuff like that. It's like playing mma Mario party. I will highlight it doesnt mean you are trained only in thay type of fighting, this is just the competition portion of doing mma, you still have to learn your skills and often time these guys can be extremely dangerous in an actual fighting encounter. Karate less so, but sikaran can be lethal in almost all the moves taught. It is about power and accuracy, a good example was the lumberjack that almost got the guy in the head, see how fats and instinctively it came out? Remember they are fighting for points and not to "beat the other guy up"
willow AZ study first d history sikaran which is a philippine martials art since way , way back. u dont know what ur saying bro. think bfore u even click.
In sikaran, you can only use your feet for offense, but sikaran also has Arnis/Kali to train you in real life situations where you do need to use your hands
Yeah, but this fight is Semi contact/Point fighting he wouldn't get punished bad for it. If this was full contact him keeping his hands low is a significant problem.
Why is that referee still considered a black belt? People like him that clearly don't practice ehat they preach should be demoted. They have no right to teach anything to anyone.

Sikaran is Filipino foot fighting we have more circular kicks why we always do the spinning kick or know as biakid biakid we can hit u from the back of ur head or from the side that's the difference.
The main difference, if you'll observe closely, is that Sikaran kicks with the hell, and Taekwondo kicks with the "foot blade", or the side of the foot. Roundhouse kicks also seem to be more common in Taekwondo than in Sikaran. Sikaran seems to me like it has a greater focus on committed kicks.
Quit your bullshit. A sport is not required to be in the Olympics to call it "real". Any sports can be an Olympic sport. There are just certain rules and requirements that the Olympic committee needs for it to include any sports. Sikaran is a Filipino martial art and traces it roots in the province of Rizal. Not an expert but I don't know if this martial art already have an established rules for sports competition but certainly this martial art is an original style from the Philippines.

What a beautiful sports of karate. They are professional already they know how to handle the perfect match. Congratulations to the both of you.

It's a Filipino sport. It's like boxing but instead of punching, they kick
Imagine a boxing match with no punches but just kicks. That's Sikaran
Filipino martial art focused on kicking.
From the root word "sikad" meaning "to kick" its the opposite of boxing which you use hands. In sikaran you use your feet
Sikaran is visayan word but the martial arts made in rizal

Nice axe kick !
Good stuff. Just can’t get past how Sikaran guy has his hands down. Isn’t that bad in any stand-up fight?
It is you can tell any time he was in danger was when he got rushed by punches if it wasn’t points fighting the fight wound have been over

point sytem will not teach you how to fight, the round should be allow to last 3 minutes..

you get a fake karate guy and then you call karate bullshit. compete in a real karate kumite.
Galing mag biyakid
Leave the kid tournaments alone😁
And sikaran not have any movement!!?...just side kick..they learn..😔
Footwork is one of the most important aspects of Sikaran, so is energy efficiency. He wasn't moving because he didn't have to.
Mukang pipitsugin ung karate...

bet you he got a bruise from the first biakid lol

Nopee. Capoeira is actually. Different by moves and footwork
it looks like taekwondo but they said its different i dont know why
first of all we cant call sikaran as a real sport
why?
its not in olympic
its not aproove by the government of the Philippines (sikaran is a filipino martial art) because they say its "Too brutal"

Just do a research. Seems that SIKARAN is a father to Tae Kwon Do I guess.
