    Jules. You have earned the right to never have to pay for a single drink in the city for the rest of your life. You're a generational goat

    Rewatched some highlights and Tony and Scal are the two players that carried him off the court. Missed opportunity for at least 1 Scal shout out.

      That would be a great episode!!! Nick foles beating Brady that year was like that superman scene where he crushed the bullet with his eye. Foles was unstoppable that game!

    The KG trade gave the Timberwolves the chance to draft Steph Curry. Instead they drafted Jonny Flynn.

      I know the Jortes, although he recently signed a new heights that he was decked out in a “Canadian Tuexedo” I believe it was this past Super Bowl but I definitely could be wrong but I’m not wrong about him wearing a Canadian tuxedo watch in case you didn’t know it had the bottom denim.
      Yeah, I could listen to Jules for hours on his podcast is episode a New heights is fantastic. Episode on the green light podcast also fantastic I think he may have two on green light, but I could be wrong there.

    I would argue that the Lakers 3peat was the first super team. The signed Shaq and traded for Kobe. Or even the Bulls when they signed Rodman.

    • @chriskay6856
      @chriskay6856 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. I have always thought the bulls was the first Super team. I mean they had Jordan and pippen but they signed Rodman, got best international player in Kukoc, Harper,

    • @robg8203
      @robg8203 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Bulls were like a defensive super team for sure. I mean they had Jordan, Pippin and Kukoč who could shoot but that was pretty much it. And I don't think Pippin averaged more than 20 and Kukoč ever averaged more than 15 when Jordan was playin. So I guess it depends on how you define super team.

    The way those ex-Celtics players talk, you would think they have won multiple championships since 2008. Julian Edelman asks some dumb questions.

    • @markmanter6508
      @markmanter6508 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To be fair they probably would have won more if there wasn’t so much bs politics happening behind the scenes in the NBA and if the league’s ref’s weren’t so biased.

    Theyshould have gave you better talent and built a better team around you I liked Antoine walker but come on the Celtics could have had Kobe and I can tell you right now you would have a lot more than just that one in '08

    • @markmanter6508
      @markmanter6508 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol there was a minimally slim chance that Kobe was ever going to the Celtics.
      It’s true the Celtics almost drafted him but I’m pretty sure it would have been bigger news if they ever tried to acquire him again after that.

  • @1VetsVision

    Antoine Walker was good, but he took way too many shots! That’s why he was criticized. Yeah he was good and he had his moments, but he was inconsistent shooter. That’s why he wasn’t a superstar. I bet Draymond Green has a higher 3-point field goal % than Antoine Walker.

    • @1VetsVision
      @1VetsVision ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do miss Antoine Walker’s little shake he did after he would come down and lace a 3-ball during during a scoring-run

    Shaq going to LA was the beginning of super teams not the 08 Celtics

    • @swilliams2628
      @swilliams2628 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think so. LA was mediocre back then. He signed as a free agent in 96. Kobe was a rookie and no one knew if he was going to be a stud. LA didn’t do anything until Shaq’s fourth year there.
      We had a washed Rockets team try it with Barkley/Pippen. And the Celtics was all through front office trades so I don’t count that. LeBron and Miami started this crap and it just got worse.
