ALSO SEE EPISODE 62 FOR MODIFICATION OF FOG LIGHTS. I received a return call the next day from JW tech support regarding the 6145 fog lights. In a message Tyler stated that with the Hard Rock Edition, 10th Anniversary Edition and some after market bumpers - you do have to cut off one or two of the “ears” on the fog light “bucket” (as well as use the Maximus 3 bracket). He said in order to mount them you will have to do the modification and there’s no way around it. He also said if I had any problems modifying the bucket to recontact him for assistance. I was pleased with JW’s detailed response.
Thanks for the followup comments. It appears you did not have any flicker...were your original fog lights LED's? Do you still like the brackets from Amazon?
The original fog lights were not LED. The brackets are very beefy and I haven’t had any problems with them. I’ve been happy with all the LED upgrades. Even the less expensive (than JW) Cree headlights (see that install video) have held up with no flicker. The factor headlights were really bad and the LEDs are a big improvement! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I didn’t use the Maximus brackets because they were much more expensive. These are the ones I bought: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07SNSHVFK/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They appear well made and had good reviews by people using them for JW Speaker fog lights on Hard Rock Edition Jeeps. If you’re buying JW Speaker fog lights make sure to read my pinned note on this video and my update in video Ep 62. You will have to modify the lights on some model Jeeps. Hope this helps!
Thank you!!! I have the same bumper and have been looking for an acceptable solution. I went with Morimoto fog lights. They have the same mounting system. This video saved me a lot of misery!
Hello mate, if your talking about the black tube that looks kinda like an arch - it’s a stinger. Designed to keep the Jeep from flipping forward. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
I bought the adapter from Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07SNSHVFK/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Maximus 3 makes the same adapter, but it’s more expensive. See the note I pinned in the comments and also the discussion in the comments about the adapter.

Hi mate! Can you tell me what is the “tube” mode you have on top of your hard rock bar? I mean the steel tube that is above your licence plate! Cheers

Maximus 3 makes the same adapter, but it’s more expensive. See the note I pinned in the comments and also the discussion in the comments about the adapter.
