@@Gardstyle35 Probably not worth due to mana cost and Blood Mage stealing his mana constantly. Unit damage was more important than structure damage I would assume.

So how does meta work in wc3 exactly? Is it all what heroes you pick or how your opposing force is setup? (Example the one video with grunt/raiders + Blademaster and Farseer.)
From what i understand (and thats very little) meta consists of 3 equally important parts: - Opening hero - army composition - creep route Examples: - if nobody goes for dh on your rating, you can go warden - that would be countering the meta. - If you see a CL, you have to adjust your army comp and timing because UD is going to expand. - Sometimes Grubby goes for creep jacking on lvl 1 fs to delay opponents keeper lvl2. Of course, 2nd hero and build order are very impactful, but 2nd hero is sometimes reactionary, and correct creep routing kind of more important then the build order - with higher lvl heroes, or by selling an extra item can make your build work even against a superior build.
It generally depends on what your race wants to do and what your opponents race wants do. For instance in Orc vs HU you go harrass in the early game bc HU has one of the strongest T2 T3 armies in the game. If you leave them doing what they want they will expand and build a huge caster army so you want to disrupt them in the early game, creepjack or harras etc. By doing so you force them to take precautions for you, such as building arcane towers or guarding the base with their hero. Thats why generally HU go for insta arcane tower in their base and their expansion. But obviously these matchups and builds are very varied and layered. Builds and metas can change with patches but also they can just change with people crafting strategies. Grubby used to go BM with SH against NE and UD but re cently he has been doing FS and its been working great. Same can be said for other pros. What I try to do when I look to a build in a matchup is to ask “What does this build want to do?”. In this game Grubby went for BeastMaster bc he wants to early harras and disrupt HU. ToD is a seasoned HU player, he knows NE matchup inside and out, but Grubby is playing an offrace so I can understand why he wants to go for a more off-meta build. With BM he harrasses the early game, forces him to defend kills a lot of footies, makes the investment for the Expo really bad and makes HU buy a lot of mercenaries(which are VERY gold inefficient). He follows it up with a very oppressive hero such as Panda and goes for a timing attack with bears(also he banks on 49 food for a lot of time while HU is definitely over 50). It works for a long time but as you can see when HU pushes into the Grubbys base with his army things get a little hectic, most of Grubbys units were red and game looked lost for him. But HU made positioning mistakes(Took bad Breath of Fire’s and left BLM on front) and needed to retreat which gave NE some room to push and win in the end. As it can be seen, builds and metas in W3 are a little nuanced and layered since its a game that has been played for over 15 years and there are 4 distinct races. It can take some time to understand the matchups but I suggest to watch tournaments, VODs and builds. Hope I could help!

how does get the creeps to not just straight up attack his building? (aow) When i try to do this, even at night they wake up and come out to kill it. Like even when they are not in visible range
Gold mines have very large aggro radius, like more than a full screen or so. All other camps have extremely small aggro range, you can put an aow like the distance of two units
You can't make all of the people happy all of the time but you can make all of the people happy some of the time! Maybe you could upload some games with and some without chat. That way those of us who find it distracting can still enjoy your content on those games without it. On the games you do include the chat however, those derps who enjoy watching a chat scroll by with no ability to interact with it can enjoy a constant stream of idiots complaining about manners and making incorrect statements. Win/win! I know you think it adds something but I challenge you to take this game in isolation, watch it, read the entire chat and tell me what it added compared to how many arguments and stupid comments were made.
I really like bears with bash. Bears with bash and blink even better. To stun heroes. Vs human though. Really need to take out priests fast or your summons are tomes of experience. ToD is most of the time very on point with dispell. Seen many mass summon strats fail vs human and orc.
Micro and army movement is a big part of the game. And even if you go for the same strategy, you have to make small adjustments on the fly. It's not so different from how BM/SH + grunt/raider/walker was used almost every game by orc for years

Does ToD ever use any other race or strategy? How do you have fun doing the same thing over and over and over again? Doesn't make any sense to me
