Idk bro I feel like that's a stretch 😭. Remember at the time they where launching Roc Nation Africa and Nasty C wanted to go global . So it seems the wanted Southa influence but Nasty wanted a global appeal, so it was a mismatch. Remember Wale's situation with Roc Nation too He did the collabo with Kwesta & Artists take notes n compare diff setups We just feel they was gonna use him as a lab rat at the time. Also Mabala Noise, Ambitiouz ENT, alot labels had offers out too he had options. His team ended up approaching Universal on his own terms and they agreed. Roc Nation Africa went on to do great as well. theirs alot of success stories in South Africa with Siya the captain of the rugby national team, the deal with Mamelodi Sundowns. from that you can see their vision was not to globalise but to internalize their brand in SA culture get a MARKET SHARE of some sort. Not what Nasty was gunning for. Nasty speaks about wanting to be Global like ChrisBrown, Adele & Rihanna. I feel it was a mismatch but they didn't block him that's a bit of a stretch. Maybe have a look into his previous deal- they didn't deliver the DefJam one😂🤷🏽♂️ Nasty was moving like he was Indie the whole time 🤷🏽♂️. & Even Interscope was blocking the boy forsure after the Eminem situation... it's alot when it comes to sizzle we can go on forever.... Great content by the way can't wait to see you grow. Les elevate 🤝🔥
