Hi there....this looks really well done. i got the fms skyline cessna 182 but....the landing gear sucks big time. and i want to make larger wheels so that i can take off and land on grass or rough terrain. could you please make a more detailed video on doing this coz im new to the hobby and want to do this right. if it's possible
Interesting ! but you didn't mention the name or type of thread used which is very important for a beginner also the nicks on the balsa edge to seat the thread I use a metal sowing machine shuttle for my axles and I go to a pool shop and buy the gasket material in any length reqd also i take a wheel to check the look of it . When I put it on the hub i make it half inch smaller and join it with super glue but be careful you only have one chance to line it up . Hope this helps someone
Excellent! These are the kinds of secrets the master modelers don't tell. Thank you.
Many thanks! Tim
Nice!
Thanks!
Thanks! This is for display only, or it can use it on a rc plane. Great work!! Thanks
Felix: This was designed for lightweight, indoor RC models. Could be applied to heavier, outdoor models. I just have not done this (yet). Tim
@@TimMcKay56 thanks!!
There is also available a myriad of inch and metric "O" rings that can be used for tires.
Guy: Good point, thanks! Tim
