@@ManOfTheRitt I know this is a year old but just to add to the coach thing. The reason this went SO poorly is because of that the guy who was head coach having a C rating. Rating matters far more than Team fit. An A+ coach can lead a mediocre team to the playoffs whereas a bad coach can drag a really good team to being mediocre.
You obviously want a decent team fit so you aren't getting minus's but getting an actually good head coach is huge for the sim

Do a draft where you focus on getting the best chemistry you can. Believe it or not it makes a huge difference. Anaheim won the president trophy cause they probably had amazing chem
