Super sweet beautiful looking car. Jaguar imho makes the best paint of all auto manufacturers bar none the very best paint is on all Jags. The problem I have with Jags is they are very expensive to insure and it's hit & miss on reliability throughout the years and very expensive on repairs. But, if you have the money to cover all those possible extra expenses, then I say why not good for you & enjoy. It's a super beautiful car, I like that it's wider than most other Jaguars it looks more roomy inside. However not as roomy as say the Lincoln Continental you had. That was far more roomy and I'd say also probably a more reliable vehicle & way less expensive in repairs IF something goes wrong other than the Jaguar brand. But only time will tell. Enjoy & I hope you keep this one a lot longer than you did that beautiful Lincoln Continental you had.
Hey. Pretty car. Had an 05 VDP. My memory, and current internet searches, believe ALL VDPs: 4.2 V8, chrome cap mirrors, fan wheels, piped leather plus WOOL carpets and mats, and mine and 2 others I saw here in the area, had "VDP" on right side rear, opposite "S-Type" There's a dandy on CarGurus @ about $8,000. May wanna check a nearby Jag expert re: seat color, material? My opinion was not solicited, I know, but this may be a partial-VDP....

Very nice. Interior is similar to my S type R but seems nicer. Update us as you get used to it.
yes, interior is mostly what made me buy it, its just like new and very unusual , special specs.

Its actually a special Anniversary edition as i found out recently, not VDP but this was around $70K new which is about the same as R type back then
carpets people always take away, hard to find original carpets, I had many VDPs XJs and only one had original wools
