A company can take an idea and the credit will never go to the one who truly came up with it. Its happened before to often honestly.

not to start an argument but that is not always the case i have found lots of songs where i have enjoyed the original and the nightcore version i have also found originals i prefer over nightcores and originals i can't stand but i like the nightcore version
