For those of you who were doubting or were planning to put this on their watchlist, I would have to say just give it a go and then you judge after. I initially watch this for Renn Kiriyama and at first, I was doubting on how this story goes, but one thing that I know for sure. He really does know how to act romantic scenes without getting awkward ( his role in switch girl is an evidence). Also, this drama is fast paced so for those of you who were planning to watch this as their first jdrama, you have to prepare yourself because you might think everything happened on one snap( sometimes you just have to listen to the FL narration to get the context). Even though the story itself is spicy, there is no toxicity or manipulative relationship in here. The characters itself are very decent and mature. :))
I used to wonder the same until I realized that I was asking the wrong question. Romance dramas are mainly watched by women. You should wonder why women fantasize about strong men to sweep them off their feet... 🤔
I'm pretty sure it's very much a cultural thing when it comes to jdramas...there are like specific ideals for women and the main factor is that they are super demure and delicate and nonconfrontational of any sort (that's how they are perceived cute and caring) There are a few exceptions but the trope still stays very much alive🤷🏽♀️ I actually find her a bit more forward than others if you watch the whole drama
I just started watching it and am at episode 8/10. I knew this was not a kdrama because in Kdramas kisses are way up still episode 8......lol this Jdrama is incredibly niceee!!.
If you really think you aren't watching soft pornography here then you've gotta take a reality check. The steamy moments between these two are off the scale and this is just Episode 2! Lemme tell you it just gets hotter and hotter afterwards that's for sure. 🥵
