Jo didn't cry and whine at the decision at all. He is a very respectful man
I watched it twice and scored it 1, 2, and 5 for Tawanchai. Tawanchai even made the 4th round really close so I wouldn't have been surprised if the refs gave it to him.
Overall, Tawanchai was more precise and simply outstruck Jo in rounds 1, 2, and 5. More roundhouse kicks to the body, push kicks to the body, elbows to head, and successful 1-2 combinations. Jo took more damage to the body. I think Tawanchai's face bruises more easily and you have to factor in skin color.
Tawanchai has significantly lighter skin than Jo. Jo is dark skinned. Jo might not be Cambodian dark, but he's closer to that skin tone and thus, the redness in his body isn't going to be as apparent.
Jo also missed more punches in his combinations. In rounds 1, 2, 4, and 5. He would throw like 3-4 punches and only land one. The rest would be close calls. The crowd reacted immensely in these sequences with their cheers, but I don't think they could see that Jo was missing most of those punches. Jo's most successful round of punching and elbows was the round 3. However, Tawanchai was able to regain his vision in Round 4 and even made that round pretty close.
Probably first time Tawanchai hasnt been chill and smiling after the fight lol
he wasn't smiling also after previous fight with Jo, he knew he lost that one too
No he won both rewatch these fights
probably because its the first time he heard booing after decision. They called the decision, he got the win, a section in bleachers where boing loud, Tawanchai got confused and upset, that why he said that he has nothing to say and that he is sorry if people are disapointed. It was a super good close fight and nothing but respect to both of the guys.

Poor Tawanchai you can tell that even he knew that he didn't deserve that belt.
During the interview he had nothing to say because he knows that he didn't win that, he looks like he wanted to cry. when Dom announced that tawanchai won everyone was confused. It's not even tawanchai or One's fault, it's the judges. it was a very close fight but the judges agreed that tawanchai was the winner but now it's causing a lot of drama for tawanchai, Jo, and ONE
tawanchai doesn’t deserve any hate it’s not his fault
I agree Tawanchai doesn't deserve this hate, blame the judges for scoring this fight wrong
มีเหตุมีผล
ima copy my response... I was in arena, they announced his win and people started boing the decision, so he looked confused and upset that people boing him and then he said nothing to say. I think he just upset and wondering why people boing when he win... And plus he did win. he took 1/2 and 5 round. Jo took the 3rd and 4th. it was a really close good fight
@@elvisman1075I agree
Tawanchai knows, post fight says it all. Jo win 3, 4, and 5. Tawanchai is amazing but Nattawut was the better fighter. I don't know what's going on
Munny😂😂
Dude, no one is better this is a 50/50 only at the end of the round, in any sport the champion is more favorite in any match if the challenger is fighting like in this match only then the champion will remain as a champion I strongly agreed with the judges decisions.
ONE wouldn’t make as much money with smoking jo as champion
For some reason you can't really hear what was going on in the arena. On video it sounds like everybody clapping and screaming, but there was a section in bleachers that where boing the decision, so Tawancai looked around and was confused on why the people are booing him, his smile disappeared and he shut down and said that he has nothing to say. 5th round went to tawanchai in all judge score cards. They where throwing both volume but Tawanchai was landing more and bigger shots. Over all super good fight and nothing but respect for both guys, but the stadium booing just was super weird and confusing for most of people. We where just looking around and wondering what the hell is going on
ONE has the most corrupt judging in mma. That's what's going on.
Let's not say anything bad about Tawanchai, he has done absolutely nothing wrong. Both fighters trained very hard for this fight. It is the judges that put both fighters in a very bad position, and also damaged One's reputation.
but is his reaction "i dont have anything to say" about that? because he also thinks he should have lost? For me (European) it looks really weird to say nothing after a title-match😊
nobody's blaming tawanchai, we just don't think he deserves the win
@@erwin_888 He knew he should have lost but decision was not his and also the politics behind it as well. At the end which was not translated he said in my heart, I'm a man (this is a Thai phrase to say that you have your pride as a man) so I don't want to say anything. Clearly the guy is disappointed in the result because he respects Jo a lot as well. What did you want him to say ??
Yeah, the translator didnt covey his true intention. Really like Thai vs thai matchups but definitely not ending like this.

Tawanchai lose..😊
the only reason Tawanchai became champion is because they stole that belt from Petchmorakot Petchyindee. This is just so dirty to see how they treat their fighters, they know very weeeeelllllll that Nattawut won.

As a Thai in my Opinion. I think Smoking Jo should Win 🙁
I see his performance was a bit better than tawanchi so he should have been the Winner but the judges analysis results in different ways so most of them gave more points to twanchai somehow they manage it in different ways

Yes!
you know what they say, never say never, chatri can make a trilogy

Crowd clearly knew who won.
Even Tawanchay knew he should have lost too. Look at his interview at the end of the fight. That say it all!

commentators are with the judges here, even they didn't call the clear winner only agreeing with the judges after. shameful
Yes agree..
Jo lost. 2-2 and tawanchai edged out the last round with a tactic change.

Tawanchai didn't judge the fight! He fought a great fight as did Nattawut. Support him and accept he was judged on Muay Thai rules and not kickboxing rules.
How could he win by Muay Thai rules? Look at his face and look who dominated the fight

In Muay Thai bodyshots are king. Both fighters landed virtually the same amount of strikes but Jo's ones were more to the legs while Tawanchai's were more to the body and upper torso. These two definitely need to give it another go.
Kicks to body, head (even blocked by arms) score higher than punches and low kicks in MT. In my opinion it was scored correctly.

I have only watched this highlight clip, it looked clear from what i saw that the wrong guy has won 😮
I honestly don't fault the judges for their decision. This fight was as close as it gets. And we have the advantage of instant replays and slow motion. They judge it one round at a time and that's the way the cookie crumbles. Honestly if draws were given I would have given this a draw
Almost all of Jo's kicks were checked. While Tawanchais weren't, Muay thai scores kicks and knees more. Jo had one good cross. Not to mention the groin shots. If Jo scored a knock down , without the groin shots he definitely should've won.
Both true champions and great warriors. Both deserved great respect. It was very, very close and it was just unfortunate it had to be won like this. Tawanchi tried his best and it's unfortunate some booed him just because he had the luck of the call by the judges

@@soundmoney4all24 Jo looks sloppy in some of the exchnage but once he started to adjust Tawanchai got countered a lot. I sitll give it to Jo. I know the Muay Thai rules and kick boxing difference as a long time Muay Thai practitionner...🙂
Tawanchai is very simple and chill i like really like his style
Good strategy from Jo. He knee Tawanchai likes the mid left kick and the block counter was on point
Onefc has given Tawanchai anime plot armor. Jo won that fight. He took rounds 3, 4, and 5.
Facts. Ppl on here smoking crack thinking Tawanchai took the 5th round. 3, 4, 5 were all Jo

@@soundmoney4all24 perhaps I was in kickboxing judgement mode after the previous matches. Taking Muay Thai scoring into account and rewatching it, Jo barely lost the 5th and Tawanchai deserves the title defense. I will cope and say if there was 1 more round Tawanchai was hitting the floor 😂 but he gave it his all despite Jos amazing performance. If you wanna unseat the champ from their throne you gotta make it decisive or a KO. Jo did however do something no one else has done until now, though, which is shattering Tawanchai’s aura of invulnerability
