Everybody forgets that Lovecraft quoted a *full paragraph* from the Necronomicon in his short story "The Festival." And that single paragraph actually lives up to the fearsome reputation he built up for his fictional book. Those words encapsulate the apex of horror fiction. Look it up.

Legend has it it was written by the dark ones. Necronomicon Ex Mortis. Roughly translated - Book of the dead. The book served as a passageway to the evil worlds beyond. It was written long ago, when the seas ran red of blood. It was this blood that was used to ink the book. In the year 1300 AD, the book dissapeared.

I think maybe you should focus on facts instead of opinions for a lot of these stories. Your view and understanding surrounding a lot of these is very much based on modern day programming - that we all suffer - but not all of us break free from. Look into Gnosticism and the Nag Hammadi Library, as well as some of the Dead Sea scriptures. Find Gnosis on the truth and it will set you free.

@@Lincolnpipe I'd say start with just listening to them for a while and allowing your mind to absorb the words and allow your attitude to switch to the point of view of someone who is focused on the metaphysical/spiritual message deeper in the words. Look up the meaning of certain words. Understand were they come from - their origins - what the speakers intent was, what the deeper message was they were trying to tell your higher self, the one that is inside you and does have eyes to see and ears to hear. You are endless potential and if you believe in that and listen very hard, the truth will come to you at last.

I think Lovecraft was inspired by grimoires, books with magical formulas that enable their owners to summon spirits and demons and let them do their bidding. The difference is that the Great Old Ones can be summoned but not controlled. They control the people who summon them (think of the cults that are prevalent in Lovecraft's work).

When speaking of the Necronomicon ,one must bring up that Alister Crowley travelled to the middle east and dated a Sara Green. It is speculated that Ms.Green then dated Lovecraft. The ideas were taken from what Sara told Lovecraft what Alister had discovered. This brings us to the Goetia. How this was never brought up in your research........Befuddles me.

Not. Crowley and Lovecraft were members of the Freemason Lodge. The year is 1307 is Friday, October 13. King Philip IV of France. he had the Grand Master of the Templars, Jacques de Molaya, arrested, along with his other 60 peers - high-ranking knights. Seven years later, on March 18, 1314, after being severely imprisoned and tortured, he was burned. The Inquisition accused him of heresy and witchcraft. The Knights have since considered Friday the 13th to be diabolical.
Jacques de Molay was the last Grand Master of the Templars until the official abolition of the order by the papal bull Vox in Excelso, issued by Pope Clement V. The surviving members swore revenge on the papal throne. And they founded Freemason Lodge. Among other things, they were accused of worshiping Baphomet. Baphomet, invented pagan or gnostic idol or deity that the Templars were accused of worshiping and that was later embraced by various occult and mystical writers. occult customs were taken over and acquired from the Assassins. Remphan and his worship began in the days of Babylon where later these occult practices were refined and written in the Cabala. In the Cabala that the Freemasons freely flee on their own. And since we know what we said at the beginning that H.P.L and A.C. belonged to the members of the lodge, so they had knowledge of deep knowledge of cabali and Middle Eastern traditions. Babilon, Sumer, cabla and other occult traditions were the inspiration for both people.

I offer you this: drop your preconceived ideas of 'religion' and look at all teachings as perspective which you need to have in order to see what are lies and manipulations, and what is truth. See all the texts of the Bible, Gnosticism etc, as simply messages from the wisdom of the ancients, designed to awaken our subconscious minds - or our higher self that is forever dwelling in us and guiding us onto our path. Remember this also: Jesus was not a Jew, he was an advancement of the collective spirit of humanity and his light is what saves us from the 6 realms of poverty that the Buddha learnt to overcome via dedicating his life to meditation on the truth. Jesus is the next step in this progression of human spiritual evolution. Where did you get your information about the one at Myskatonic being in Spanish? I’ve never heard that before.
I don't know what to tell you, but I'm staring straight at "The Dunwich Horror" and it says the book is in Latin.
"Almost eight feet tall, and carrying a cheap new valise from Osborn’s general store, this dark and goatish gargoyle appeared one day in Arkham in quest of the dreaded volume kept under lock and key at the college library-the hideous Necronomicon of the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred in Olaus Wormius’ Latin version, as printed in Spain in the seventeenth century. He had never seen a city before, but had no thought save to find his way to the university grounds; where, indeed, he passed heedlessly by the great white-fanged watchdog that barked with unnatural fury and enmity, and tugged frantically at its stout chain.
Wilbur had with him the priceless but imperfect copy of Dr. Dee’s English version which his grandfather had bequeathed him, and upon receiving access to the Latin copy he at once began to collate the two texts with the aim of discovering a certain passage which would have come on the 751st page of his own defective volume."
Printed in Spain, but in Latin.

The first title of a book in Arabic sounds like a howl of a demon in translation. As a second H.P.L. and Crowlay belonged to the Freedom Mason Lodge. The lodge itself was established after the burning of the Templar master after the oath of revenge. Over time, the Templars began to lean towards the occult under the influence of the Assassins. Worship of Baphomet and Remphant. The worship of the Remphant goes back to Babylon, where his children were burned as a sacrifice. Over time, this occult movement softened and created a cabal. And the cabala is deeply part of the freedom masonry. H.P.L. as well as A.C. drew with the Cabali, Sumerian writings. To this day, there is a Greek original that is really difficult to access. This is a manuscript. Not to be viewed in person. I recommend you be more interested in period notes because history rewrites the victories but they can't erase everything .... Twenty-two years of study ,research and maybe you'll talk differently.Have a nice day.

The Marvel comics are the best! If you've never read them I highly suggest them. Marvel Zombies. It started with Marvel Zombie vs. The Army of Darkness. It's total bad ass. Zombie Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, etc. You throw in Ash and you got a comic of epic proportions! I hope they make a movie for the MCU. There is a fan made trailer here on TH-cam that is genius. The second series Marvel Zombies Return is great too. The other series are okay, but the first 2 are just...wow.

Though the book itself was written for dark and sinister purposes, ironically it also helped humanity dispel the evil forces.

0:53 I got an example of the Necronomicon at home, i read it and all i can say is: its a bunch of nonsense, nothing dangerous about it and its all just fiction. H.P. wrote the Necronomicon after he refered in so many of his storys on an mystical "dangerous book" and later wrote it himself and invented some stuff about the invocations of the "Old Ones" with some symbol drawings and descriptions of monsters that will match his own stories. There was never a crazy Arab called Abdul El Hazred. H.P. himself was Abdul! He liked to dress like an Arab sometimes and this was his chosen Roleplay name. 😅 Nothing "horrible" will happen if you touch it, and nothing "horrible" will happen if you read or own it. Honestly: its just a quite bad written fantasy-SCIFI book that was imensley hyped, but is quite booring to read. If you want to read something truly occult, search for the Satanic Verses or the Key of Solomon.
