You should consider visiting other parts of the Dominican Republic because Punta Cana is a lottt of tourism but there are very pretty places that aren’t full of tourists! My mom is from the Dominican Republic 💗
FYI, I've been to Punta Cana, and after you get out of the airport, the ditches are SUPER messy. They are full of trash, and it just doesn't seem like the safest place to go out on your own. That is why I would recommend an all in clusive resort like Margaritavile. It was so much fun and I hope you have fun as well

We went to Punta Cana for spring break once in 2023 due to hurricane damage in Florida, and it was a AWESOME experience. Me and my cousins drank virgin strawberry and mango daiquiri’s, and sat by the pool all day. 🤣 We stayed at an all inclusive resort called dream smth. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about it was the sea grapes and sea weed in the ocean. It was also kinda scary at the airport and off resort.
