Just to point out if you are a Star Wars fan then you should have read this, or be in the process of making time to read it. The Darth Bane trilogy is what I would consider a must read along with the Plagueis novel. Just hearing you read the holocron section makes me want to revisit the books. Either that or find the audio book and play something like Minecraft while I listen

Yeah revan was a shame to the sith. He turned on the sith as a whole and helped the jedi to destroy darth vitiate himself, the man who was the sith ruler hinself and made revan a dark lord. Vitiate gave revan Power, but He turned against him, turned to the Light and destroyed vitiate and his sith empire. Revan was a traitor to All sith and bane learned from this traitor and became a traitor himself. Because of bane and revan, the ancient sith werde destroyed. Revan was the one who weakened vitiate with the Light side, if revan had not manipulated vitiate, He would never have Gotten that weak to create a family. And this family He founded on zakuul led to his downfall and revan helped valkorion's family, the outlander, satele shan and many others to destroy vitiate and his sith empire and eternal empire. Just like revan helped bane to destroy the ancient sith.
Hard to say what is exact canon. Bane and Revan are both considered canon. Yet the clone wars cartoon changed Banes ending. It also does not cover what happens with his amazing apprentice or the awesome apprentice she ended up with at the end. This could be one of those things where we truly never know so feel free to accept it as canon until Disney does something real bad with the 2 characters
