We just rescued a cat, and it was the best decision! We love him! He is hearing impaired and very special… my favorite part of this video was when your cat peeked in! 😂
We are convinced that our Maltese is on the spectrum, we got her at 10 weeks in 2020, she is brilliant but has specific rituals for certain things, when alone too long lines up her toys in the great room, you have to tell her ahead of time that you’re going to leave, etc. we chalk it up to her being a COVID baby
You crack me up- we have so much in common it’s literally scary. I like to say I have allllll the letters of the alphabet lol. ADHD, OCD, C-PTSD, etc. 😅 I love that 4th of July American Pie reference!
You could also put some PET tape on yours 😂. I used to keep my SonicCare toothbrush with a strip of Washi tape covered with packing tape - until he lost his again and bought a newer one for him and our daughter. They are slightly different now (that was when he traveled at least once a month for work
I have two dogs and four cats, and I will say I’m more partial to cats, just don’t tell my dogs. 😂 I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I got my first cat at 24. I just find cats sort of suit my personality more; indoorsy, quiet, solitary. But my dogs are indispensable for helping me run my micro farm and for protecting me, and I will probably always have a dog for that reason!
I'm the opposite, not a fan of cats. Never once have I walked into my kitchen and found my 85 pound Labrador on my kitchen counters, lol. I don't mind other people's cats, though. Have fun on your trip!!
I'm a chihuahua person, but not a dog person. I hate dog that drools, dog that smells and in general I'm just not a dog person. But I love chihuahua. I can tolerate cat, like how cat tolerates us while occupying our home. But I absolutely hate sharing bed with pet and their hair, and once you have a cat, your bed becomes their bed, so I can't say I'm a cat person. 😂 I know... I'm a difficult person!

That’s mostly what it is I don’t want the extra responsibility. I do envy dog people I see why the love is there. Someday maybe the kids will convince me lol I do have my opinions but on the other hand a small part of me feels all kids should have a dog 🤷🏼♀️
