    May we have a link to the study? First rule is to check who funded the study and see if there were any biases. I learned that from an excellent doctor, Ken Berry.

    You are an excellent communicator, Barbie.
    I did not see permanent disability/death on your con list, which has happened and been reported around the world, as is the case with all vaccines.
    I am not an anti vaxxer, but I do weigh the risks of a vaccine against the risk of the disease. In the case of HPV, two things are in people’s favor: morality and early detection.
    Given the above, there are some people in this world who will not benefit from this vaccine.
    I respect parents who weigh the risk of vaccines against the risk of the disease.

      The great thing about this education is that you can use it (or refuse it) as you please. My goal is to give you the whole story and the whole truth and enable you to decide for yourself. You never have to justify your choices to anybody.

    If the vaccine can prevent cervical cancer “decades later”, but Gardasil lasts for approximately 10 years, does this mean one needs to get re-vaccinated about every 10 years, in order to prevent this cancer caused by the HPV virus?

    • @onewomansjourney760
      @onewomansjourney760 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It doesn't prevent anything. It's just another money making shot.

      @@onewomansjourney760 Would you mind providing scientific data for your claim that this vaccine “doesn’t prevent anything”? Otherwise I cannot take your comment seriously.

    • @MenopauseTaylor
      @MenopauseTaylor  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Never forget that everything in life always has BOTH benefits and risks. All that matters is how they weigh for YOU.
      For these vaccines against a virus that causes a deadly cancer, you have to weigh the risks of the vaccines against the risks of the cancer.

    I got the shots to prevent hpv before i ever had sex. Still ended up with hpv and severe dysplasia which will be cut out next week before it becomes cancer. I also developed Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome from the shots.

    I'm so confused. How does this prevent cervical cancer in years to come when it only lasts 6 to 10 years? Do you mean only within those 10 years they're having sex? The sex pool during that age is generally going to be with others who aren't sleeping around as much anyway. It's when they go to college that this would matter, and the effectivity drops. Those are not great stats.

    My 26 year old daughter received the vaccine as a teenager. Are booster shots available? She's been too busy studying to be a PA and now working as a PA to have a boyfriend, haha, but now that she finally has some breathing room to form a relationship, I'd hate for her to not be protected.

      @@MenopauseTaylor I thought that once you're sexually active, you cannot get them anymore, which is the reason they give them so young. It has something to do with how the vaccine reacts to existing HPV in your body.

    Hi again, would you recommend the vaccine for boys? I have 2 of them in the vaccine age range. I was about to get them vaccinated but I read an article about infertility in boys and that stopped me from doing so. i’m pro vaccines 😊 but so far I haven’t received an answer from their pediatrician that makes me comfortable having them vaccinated. Is there any documentation that you could recommend reading? Thanks for any help. I really appreciate it and see you soon in my consultation.
