1:28: The old man can either go through the gate check or around it for the border inspector to understand the man’s heart issues by checking the note. Once done, they’ll let him through.
1:33: After all the methods are done above, the entire family can go!

*Before 9/11 you were allowed to do almost anything you wanted to on the airline.*
*So much has changed involving air travel since the September 11th attacks although, it’s still cramped, sounds the same and planes have become more crowded, the time leading up to boarding has changed significantly.*
*The biggest change people agree on is security at the airport, you did not have to take off your shoes, belt or even throw away your drink.*
*Passengers said they remember seeing the cockpit door open during flight before the attacks, It wasn’t uncommon for children to be called to the cockpit to get a glimpse of the controls.*
*A decade ago there was not an undercover armed officer in the plane, you only had to show ID when you were checking in.*
*Only two questions were asked: Did you pack your own bags have your bags, been seen outside your control, you could bring sharp objects on the plane such as, pen knives, box cutters, and sharp scissors.*
*All you had to do was arrive minutes, before the flight and you wouldn't have to rush to get on family or friends, could accompany you to the gate and say farewell.*
*Some planes had weak cockpit doors that broke easily, they also didn't scan all of the luggage.*

The problem is if someone wants to hijack an aircraft or bring a bomb, he will do it. There are multiple ways to bring prohibited items on board (obviously I do not write about them). In may I even forgot about bottle of champagne and corkscrew in my backpack (it was overweight anyway, 16 kg out of 8, so I didn't feel it) and successfully brought it on board. But they asked me other time tons of questions about PC components which I afraid to give in check in luggage.
Screwdrivers, scissors are only small part of what else I carried straight THROUGH security. And cockpit doors are still fragile, so fire extinguisher is enough to break in. It just shows how fragile the system is despite all the measures.
