I just bought a 2020 renegade north with the 2.4 It listed for 28,500.00 after rebate it was 23,500.00. I also test drove the ecosport awd with the 2 lliter and the buick encore awd with the 1.3 liter .The jeep was a better chose in the price range for me all three had close to the same mpg and cargo space . The jeep had better acceleration and handling along with front and rear skid plates front tow hooks and trailer hitch . I know this is not a trail rig my other jeep is a 1997 tj wrangler I use for going trail riding .
Great review, and great car! Got the north edition for my wife, she loves it. Got an awesome deal, loaded all for just over 27k, more than 10k off sticker! Great for Canadian winter, and tame enough for the road! Way more agile and civilized than my Wrangler lol

If only you could get a Trailhawk with the six-speed manual. That transmission just awful. I like my Renegade, but that transmission is making me seriously consider giving up the superior style and highway comfort for a manual Wrangler for my next car.

Sold our 2015 renegade last year with 280.000 miles on it. Half of that with trailers from 1200 to 3500 lbs.
Replaced two rear coil springs. A wheel bearing and the resistor from the Climate control.
If you call that shitty quality id like to know which cars is this price range are better.
