Why Generator size is getting increased when voltage getting more and more because of higher sizes of insulation. Similarly why Generator size is getting increased when voltage getting less than 11 KV because of winding sizes getting increased for higher current as the Power is fixed. Hence, the Generator size is best obtained in 11KV for optimization of insulation as well as in winding sizes. Thanks Abhishek I appreciate your video.
And i have an question that in a power plant suppose the single unit has a capacity of 300 MW and its generating voltage is 20 KV. So how the Mega Watt is descided that we are generating. Means how we will descide that we have to generate 300MW of power only.

How increasing voltage will increase generator size. Well actually generator size should decrease. 6.6 Kv generator will be bigger than 11kv generator. Because conductor size increases
