I just picked up the orange Jagt this week. I have the same thoughts about the lock bar. It is super annoying and destroying my thumb. I am comparing this to the Jutland which seems tuned perfectly. Also...due to the strong lockbar, they really need a detent ramp. It gets caught all the time when closing the blade. Disappointed that it isn't just an issue with mine.
That’s a nice looking knife. That black swirl Micarta keeps reminding me of licorice. I like the Nessmuk blade design on the Jagt, a lot. Great class (for those of us wanting to learn) on lock bar stiffness and how the various OEMs perform on that characteristic. Thanks!
Been curious about giant mouse for a while never bought their stuff prices always seemed fairly cheap which I found concerning perhaps I'll try this guy.
They have some really nice designs but I think we all collectively wish they heat treated a bit better...while most of us don't actually NEED the hardness, just knowing it's probably gonna be soft kinda sucks...

It's not that they are improving, it's that every once in a blue moon they get lucky and don't send out a QC nightmare 🤣 I've been burned way too many times on italian knives, I have zero faith... But I want a Tribeca so much and yet I know exactly what to expect, disappointment...
Sadly, I’m with ya. Heartbreaking bc GM designs are some of my favorite…. But, warped micarta scales crushed by factory over-torquing, off centered blades (that can’t be centered), and hardware that strips when you look at it just ain’t for me **Edit: btw that was my experience with 3 variants of Ace Biblios
