Luckily I got exposed to different electronica until I found trance, but this is not the case for the majority. In fact I didn't like uplifting trance at first (the one you could hear in ASOT, which I found very ¿generic? / without soul) but after discovering Kandi, O'Shine, Andrej,.. it has just changed it all for me. Also here many people considers you a weirdo if you listen to this music, but what can you expect from people who think "raggaeton" is the shit?

I stumbled upon this track randomly and it's absolutely gorgeous. The persistence of the fast yet melodic rhythm which transitions seemlessly into a beautiful melody of "traditional instruments", which then transition yet again into the electronic sounds calmly before reintroducing the melodic rhythm. It may be something which can be found in many tracks of this genre, but the way it's done in this track has affected and inspired me in a certain unique and profound way as a listener.

Andrej..........Long story short me and buddy were young. We smoked this thing called saliva (it's legal). He took his trip, next was mine. I told him to play this song. I closed my eyes and I was transported back to all my childhood memories which I couldn't remember. I was in a trance in this breakdown, as I'm coming out the drop hit and I was shedding tears like no tomorrow understanding that this song itself brought me to that place and probably nothing else could. At that point in time I fully understood the beauty of a trance track and for that I am forever grateful.
