Man when I first saw this movie and I saw that part where Kong killed Colonel Sheppard by smashing him into the ground with his right fist reminded me of that scene from King Kong Lives where Kong did the exact same thing to Colonel Nevitt smashing the guy into the ground with his right fist while roaring now that was just ironic.
