I think people in the comments section are forgetting that this is a vocal RANGE battle and not the stability or the strength in a voice. And emphasizing once more that this is a vocal RANGE battle, Brendon obviously won...
Looking at the vocal range, Brendon won. He has one of the largest vocal range for a tenor ever registered. Though they are all really talented singers, considering only the vocal range there is a clear winner.
Brendon is in modern day so he can just record himself messing around and post it to twitter, Freddie could not the only vocals you heard from him are songs at TV shows
Can we all stop arguing and agree that these three singers are all so fucking fantastic. They are all musically gifted in their own ways and they have beautifully unique styles and voices. This video was made to hear their vocal ranges not to decide who is the supreme god of singers, because there isn’t one. These dudes have all worked their butts off to be where they are or have been and are very talented, let’s just appreciate the beautiful music that they have all blessed us with.
Brendon is the King and Freddie is the Queen edit: jesus christ y’all started a war just bc i didn’t mention Adam? it’s been 2 years why are y’all still replying 😭
I like panic at the Disco the most, but Freddie is the most pleasing to hear. And think about it, he had no one to compare himself to. Brendan and Adam get to look back and try and be better, but Freddie just sang
brendon and adam don't try to be better. i can't say much for adam cause I'm not really a fan of him, but queen literally saved brendon. these are their own voices, they aren't trying to copy freddie.
I think Freddie is better to listen to bc he can hold notes longer. Sure Brendon might sing a higher note, but Freddie can hold a pretty high note for a long time, which is better to listen to(in my opinion). Would you rather listen to a 6 second really high note or a 20 second pretty high note?
*Brendon Urie* has the most range D2-D6 (4 Octaves, C7 is an uncontrolled screech) ✨ *Adam Lambert* has the best technique & consistency 🌌 *Freddie Mercury* has the best artistry, most unique voice, most successful & inspired multitudes including these two other talented singers in the video #Legend 👑
@Niranjan Rajesh but I don't think Freddie could control the sixth octave well. For example, he never hit Under Pressure high note (A5) live, he only hit it in the studio
However they all are amazing but out of this two except Freddie I gotta a feeling that brendon will become a legend, Adam is better vocalist but I don't think he can become a legend
Beebo wins because I honestly love him and his vocal range is wild! Freddie is a legend anyway, Adam is good and the most technically skilled but let’s not start a fight, they’re all good
Adam Lambert is a better Singer and performer than Urie. Adam uses more full Voice (Head Voice) and Urie uses more falsetto in the high notes. Adam has a more consistent voice, greater skill and better vocal technique. Adam's voice is more uniform and balanced... In addition, he is an extraordinary performer.
Adam Lambert has 3 octaves. Brendon urie has 4 octaves Freddie Mercury has 4 octaves Freddie is a _God of music_ Somebody with 8 octaves wouldn'd sound better
@@justdont625 actually he did He said in an interview when he was first promoted to the lead singer he had singing lessons so yes brendon did train his voice
Brendon is no doubt the winner of the vocal range. Out of the three, I love the sound of Freddie Mercury better. His vocal range and sound will remain legendary and timeless. One person that can beat all three of those people are the vocal range of Queen's drummer, Roger Taylor.
They are all crazy talented. Brendon does win because it is after all a vocal range video... but I am fans of both Freddie and Brendon (I didn’t know Adam srry but he was very good). Both of there voices are unique in there own way and some people would choose one over the other due to their taste. I personally like Brendon’s better but I do love both.
freddy has such a powerhouse voice that we all know and love, but I think Brendon's is more versatile. he can go super high or super low (like the time when he sang "hallelujah" in a rough metal voice)
I think once a singer reaches a point such as these beauties have there's no point of arguing who's best. No singer can be "perfect" they each have/had flaws but each brought something special to the table. Each having incredible ranges, lyrical creativity and character. All three of them are extraordinary singers that deserve to be praise for their out of this world talent and skill. No need to fight about who is better, now. Each singer is so different that being categorized by "who's best" that just makes it boring imo.
Finally, someone agrees with me! I've seen everyone say, "Freddie is the best, no one else is" it's so annoying because you can't assume he's the greatest, especially if an ACTUAL ANGEL came down from heaven and sang the most beautiful harmony ever, they can just assume that Freddie is better? I've heard people that sing exactly like him, and people that sing even better, and I've heard Brendon sing notes WAY higher and his voice isn't raspy at all when he sings them (unlike Freddie) I don't hate Freddie, he's an awesome singer. It's just very activating to see people that can just say that he's the greatest and no one can beat him. There had to be SOME people that can. All I'm trying to say is, Freddie is a great singer, I just believe Brendon is a WAY better singer.
+XxBehindTheBitxX I love Panic, and Brendon Urie is awesome. But he's no legendary artist who revolutionised music and who's songs were years ahead of their time. No one can replace Freddie Mercury.
Freddie: King of Queen Brendon:King of the Clouds, of the Clouuds...😂😂😂 Adam: King of...... reimagining Freddie!! Yeah, that's it! I love all the singers. They're all insanely talented
personally I love all three of them but people need to stop bitching about Adam, like he is on concert with Queen. if queen thinks he deserves to sing the songs Mercury did with them well then that kinda shows you how good a singer he is.
You should see Marc Martel that's the guy who should be touring with Queen he is the closest voice I have ever heard to Freddie Mercury but still Adam has a fantastic voice aswell
@@bencurtis8838 I feel like he would try to be impersonating Freddie too much. That's why I think Adam does a great job, because he isnt trying to be Freddie, he is putting his own flare to it. No one can replace Freddie, and I dont think thats what they were going for. Dont get me wrong, Marc is amazing, but I think Adam was the right choice
Brendon wins this battle due to his vocal range and he is a good musician too But Freddie is a better songwriter, entertainer, performer and have more charisma than others Adam lambert got a better voice technique and he is versatile he can sing every genre songs of other artists perfectly without any struggle he got a better voice control than every others in music industry I love all three of them 😍
i understand how how great freddie was but i cant remember if he created songs all by himself because i know brendon does and he wrote his entire last album and recorded it all himself too (yes even the instruments) so correct me if im wrong on the freddie writing songs alone or not but that is how i see it
Have you actually watched Brendon Urie performances? Whether live or on TH-cam? Hes one of the most charismatic, passionate, & humble performers I've ever seen!!! He nails any genre he sings effortlessly too!! (Just saying this coz I feel you havent seen Brendon or P!ATD put on a show but rather just heard a couple songs maybe! I think you'd be very impressed if you check it out with an open mind!!!)
+Oscar Felipe Suarez Lozano not sure what your point is? She didn't say that Brendon had the widest range ever. And btw, just reading singers ranges off a site doesn't mean you know anything about their voices. The high notes of the singers you listed are all in whistle or other non-modal techniques, and are barely sung. Pretty much all of Pattons range above E5 is screamed
Freddie and Brendon are a near tie for me in general. It seems that from this video alone, Brendon won. He won in that other video with Matt, Jared, and Patrick as well. Gives me chills listening to him honestly. I cry. Awesome video :D
Freddie is the winner here. Without him, we wouldn't have Brendon or Adam. Brendon and Adam are great vocalists in their own rights though keeping the spirit of Freddie alive.
Brendon because an artist because of his music teacher and because he loved Sinatra. Freddie has definitely influenced him, but Brendon would still be an artist if Freddie wasn't.
@@user-uk5yj4qp4e They're talking about Freddie having an influence on Brendon's vocal ability. That we would have a more untalented, less popular Brendon without Freddie, I thought that was obvious. They don't literally mean they wouldn't exist.
This is like trying to compare chocolate to chocolate ice cream to brownies. They're all too damn good and it's hard to pick one over the other. But obviously, Freddie set the bar and immensely influenced Brendon and Adam. They're all amazing, and I'm a big fan of Brendon and PATD, and I love Adam, but Freddy wins all the way. It's just hard to compare them to a legend, although these guys might become legends themselves. ❤️
fatimamusic13 I Don’t Mean To Offend You In Any Ways, Just Telling My Opinion! I Believe Brendon Is The Best Vocalist, Especially Live. In His Song “Victorious” On One Of His Concerts He Held Out A 8 Second Note At A Very High Note (I Don’t Remember) Gradually Getting Higher Using His Vibrato The Whole Way Through The Notes. Though This Is Just One Example, His Other Song Have A Better Beat And Some Have A Better Meaning Than Some Of Queen’s Music (Personally) But Also, In The Song “Emperors New Clothes” Brendon Had To Hold Out A Note About 10ish Seconds Long Slowly And Subtly Getting Higher As He Progressed With The Note. He Was Not Straining Himself And He Was Doing It Almost Perfectly Without Any Voice Cracks Or Anything Which Most Performers Would Have Failed At (Not Aiming Anything Toward Queen Or Adam) But Those Are My Reasons That I Believe That Brendon Is A Better Vocalist. Sometimes, The Range Doesn’t Matter And This Time, Brendon’s Technique For His Singing Is Absolutely Flawless (OPINION)
@Niranjan Rajesh brendon hit a c7 sir lol ps : brendon's lowest note is d2 as equal to brendon's idol frank sinatra it's obvious u only do research on freddie's range and not brendon very well, u probs only look at vid titles on utub regarding brendon's lmao his lowest is d2 highest c7 and anyone i mean ANYONE can hit c2 or lower talking, it wont sound nice but it hit the note, on singing range brendon hit d2-c7 before and freddie f2-f6. Im a fan both of queen and patd, but based on facts brendon has a larger vocal range than freddie. do your research properly sir :)
@Niranjan Rajesh dude i understand u love queen but its facts, brendon got more range than freddie, i dont listen to patd myself and am a queen fan. but seriously freddie isnt a god, there are some better than him in some parts and no one is a perfect singer. Brendon has his own advantages and Freddie too. You can't make your own fact. Brendon has larger range and good technique while Freddie got the better creativity. I bet if Brendon's born in the same era as Freddie's he would also be a God at present times.

Xzandria Rogers Brendon Urie has a wider vocal range than Freddie’s and that can’t be disputed, but Freddie’s tone is legendary and there is a reason why he’s as famous and revered as he is.

@@shadowingfas6792 i know, im saying that yes freddie is a legend and extremely famous and amazing at what he did, but brendon urie has a wider vocal range
Freddie Mercury's version of Bohemian Rhapsody has been proven to be a recording for the Galileo part live, whereas Brendon Urie when he covered this song, he would sing it live. And note, this isn't as high as Brendon can go. Or as low.
The thing is; This is posted a month and half before the performance that was posted.... Also the Saturday Night note..... Beebo can hit it, but Freddie can't
The fact that they used a recording for the Galileo part is because of the choral sound. On the record it sounds like an entire choir even though it is only 3 voices, just because of all the over dubs. They could not replicate that on stage where they had only 3 vocalists, when you would need like 30 to create the sound on the record. That is why they did not do it live (source: Brian May in an interview), not because Freddie or Roger could not hit the high notes. Brendon did do that part live because he was performing his interpretation of the song, not the way Queen intended it, or would have performed it. Also Queen's highest and lowest notes are not even on the bohemian rhapsody record. Freddie and Brendon are great vocalists in their own right. Brendon's range is wider, but Freddie's voice is more powerful and more flexible. It is not a competition.
@@Willemijn.Linnie thank you for having some intellectual properties on something you say before you post it, simple audio recording, unlike some people.

+xristina papadopoulou Freddie is the King of classic rock! I have to listen to Queen on my way to work every morning 😩❤️ and I'm a massive Adam Lambert fan, and new P!ATD fan. No reason to compare them I love them all.
Just remember, Freddie was singing in the moment, he had a unique voice (especially in the 70s/80s) and he had no autotune (I know the other two are great live) and no competition at the time. And without Freddie, (in my opinion) Brendon and Adam wouldn’t be nearly as famous. As well as this Freddie wrote (most of the songs) songs with just him and the band whereas people these days have songwriters for them. All great singers but we have to keep in mind Freddie was incredible in his own way and will always be missed
DarknessDrawings Range doesn't always matter, it mostly how you use your range. If you have a 3 octave range and you can use it very well, having full control over it, that sounds much better than having a 5 octave range that sounds like shit.
it's a shame that the younger generation doesn't listen to Queen or Adam Lambert as much. Most comments are saying Brendon Urie as #1. He has incredible vocal range, but his technique and stability is incomparable to Adam. I said what I said.
Freddie was far more versatile than Adam, it is not even close. Adam can't even sing Queen rock song properly. He is a cover artist, if his lucky Queen gig is up he will start doing Elvis covers.
The only reason Brendon can hit all the high notes is because he stores a third lung in his forehead.

Brendon is no doubt the winner of the vocal range. Out of the three, I love the sound of Freddie Mercury better. His vocal range and sound will remain legendary and timeless. One person that can beat all three of those people are the vocal range of Queen's drummer, Roger Taylor.
Yeah, Roger Taylor hit most of the high notes for Queen, like in Bohemian Rhapsody.
yEEEEEEEEEEEEEES, and he is super underrated.
Roger's a great singer but he has a high voice, not a wide range. There's a reason Freddie was Queen's lead singer and not him
Let’s be honest they all have the vocal range of gods 🤷🏽♀️

I think once a singer reaches a point such as these beauties have there's no point of arguing who's best. No singer can be "perfect" they each have/had flaws but each brought something special to the table. Each having incredible ranges, lyrical creativity and character. All three of them are extraordinary singers that deserve to be praise for their out of this world talent and skill. No need to fight about who is better, now. Each singer is so different that being categorized by "who's best" that just makes it boring imo.
Thank you. It's nice to read something that makes perfect sense and acknowledges the talent in all.

Freddie had almost perfect control and could and did put the rasp on for the song.

I Don’t Mean To Offend You In Any Ways, Just Telling My Opinion!

You're aware that Freddie Mercury is the original singer of that song, right?
Norce555 was he in the band Queen? Idk. But the cover that Panic! did for Bohemian Rhapsody was just beautiful.
+Roshna Ali Yes, Freddie Mercury is one of the most famous and praised singers ever, and he was the singer of Queen.
Norce555 He's a good singer, but in vocal range, I think Brendon tops in Bohemian Rhapsody.
+Roshna Ali Freddie's range in that song is G2-G5.

Brendon doesn't use autotune
I agree
Brendon did the songwriting too
they’re all so insanely talented and honestly adam is criminally underrated he has such amazing technique
Clicked on this video just cuz I knew brendon was going to win lmao
Emily Warfield Wins in range but lost in skill and talent.
Emily Warfield SAME
Arjay “looses in skill and talent” listen to any live or studio recordings of him and that will change your mind.🙄
Gonna have to agree because damn
Emily Warfield saaaame
though i am a HUGE Panic! At the Disco fan, I still think Freddie Mercury has the best voice of all time. (brendon comes in a close second though)
+Rania Chowdhury as said in the video it only displays vocal range in thatmanner brendon won but as a singer of course freddy is better
They're all good, I absolutely love Brendon, but Freddie wins.
Yunuel how? Brendon has a bigger vocal range, that’s the whole point of the video.
Freddy wins your right darling Brandon is good but we're talking about. Legend....
Adrian Gasca Brendon still wins, it doesn’t matter who they are he has the biggest vocal range
DarknessDrawings Range doesn't always matter, it mostly how you use your range. If you have a 3 octave range and you can use it very well, having full control over it, that sounds much better than having a 5 octave range that sounds like shit.
Daniel K. Well guess what, smartass? This video was about range!
it's a shame that the younger generation doesn't listen to Queen or Adam Lambert as much. Most comments are saying Brendon Urie as #1. He has incredible vocal range, but his technique and stability is incomparable to Adam. Freddie is very unique, no one will ever have a voice like his, he's iconic, but he is not as versatile as Adam. Any person with a trained ear can tell you that artists like Adam Lambert, Jessie J, Guy Sebastian is underrated.
@@xtramagnus8088 So did Adam. 😁
Why can't we enjoy our favourite great vocalists without having digs at others? I would've loved to see Bredon + Adam collaboration.
THIS!!!!! Like it's almost too funny how many are sleeping on Adam, I think it's really a biased agenda, like most comments are saying Brendon or Freddie and both are from well known bands let alone a specific iconic band, and also that Adam is that flamboyant gay singer that gets bullied a lot (sadly) so I think people are just straight denying that's he's technically better because they don't care about him or dislike him. I said what I said.
Freddie was far more versatile than Adam, it is not even close. Adam can't even sing Queen rock song properly. He is a cover artist, if his lucky Queen gig is up he will start doing Elvis covers.
To be fair - titling the video "battle" and then saying it isn't a competition is a bit contradictory.
when you know all panic at the disco songs and you just sing along ♡♡♡
+Lyxienne Tromp and yet you didn't put the !. I'm offended lmao
+JessieMadeAChannel lol don't be offended that fast
Ughhh I can’t get over Brendon’s and Freddie’s voice I freaking love it they are incredible! Legends 🖤😍
Brendon Urie sounds like Jesus himself! Ugh I literally am in love with his vocals!!!
