30:15 You had me excited that the pricing structure had changed. Unfortunately, these things are still $1,999 outright or $699/year as part of their subscription service. I have the ScoreHub and was hoping to add 3 of the ScoreLinks to my workflow, but not for a combined total of $6,000!
Right! I was informed that the pricing structure changed after releasing the video. I do feel the cost increase does make smaller operators re-evaluate the decision to purchase. They are super covenant but I totally get the cost concerns.
Can you run the Score Link setup you describe on the your production vMix system so only 1 computer is required? Great job on the video explanation, thanks
@@tj.thompson I figured as much but just wanted to be clear, it fits perfectly for our clients who are running with very few staff members on their productions--thanks
If your not changing locations or sports you can set and forget. You will always need a gfx machine to receive the data and play out your beautiful designs!
@@tj.thompson Thanks I think I am understanding better now. But I can just connect with usb and not go through network? will I still need to change all the firewall settings?
It runs most of the major brands right out of the box. If you have a board that's not listed you can always contact Sportzcast and they may be able to build you a custom profile.

2k???
What a rip off

Absolutely! We break it out because we have a separate op for the bug and gfx but you could most certainly run it on one machine.

Our ScoreLink has a 1-second clock delay on NCAA LiveStats -- any idea how to get the game clock synced?
The $2000 gets lifetime support and cloud?
1. Is there a cost for the licenses you used on the PC? 2. I assume there is no option to pick up the scoreboard data wirelessly with the Scorelink?
No cost for the live XML license. No wireless option unless you pay for the cloud service with a ScoreHub.
Is this a one-time set up, or do you need a computer to operate this box every time you want to use to with a score clock

What do you do if all the output ports on their scoreboard controller are in use?
I believe you can use a splitter.
My live xml and score connect numbers aren’t matching up. Not sure what is wrong
Make sure you're connected to the right bot. It can be put in a demo mode which will display random numbers.
Do you need live XML if you are only going to connect direct with usb?? Thanks for the video
Yes. You will still need Live XML.
@@tj.thompson Thanks I think I am understanding better now. But I can just connect with usb and not go through network? will I still need to change all the firewall settings?
@@michaelmoyer244 The firewall settings should only be for the network features.
@@tj.thompson Really appreciate your help. Thank you
How did you get this to run on a Mac? Allow the downloads are Microsoft Files
We only have PC's in our live production environment.
@@tj.thompson Is that not a Mac in the video? That is a Mac OS background?
Oh nevermind. So I need a Windows to run this software?
@@123wbbstream6 Haha. No. I bounce back and forth between Macs and PC's so all of my machines share the same background. Keeps me from going crazy!
is it okay for any board?

Or turn firewall off
