Learn Finnish by listening to me talk about snow (in Finnish puhekieli)!

In this video, you'll learn Finnish by listening to me talk about snow in Finnish puhekieli. I'll show you just how much it can snow in Kuusamo, Finland! I think this was 3 years ago. I remember I had to switch on the running water, but first we had to shovel our way into the building in which the switch was. Eek!
Turn on the subtitles in Finnish or English, whichever you prefer. Listen to what I say a few times, see if you can spot familiar words and if it gets any easier to understand. :) Have you every seen this much snow? Let me know in the comments!

Joo, ope!😍 . Itse asiassa mä opiskelen edelleen suomen kieltä nyt, rehellisesti sanottuna se on vaikeaa, mutta mä nautin paljon, ja mun mielestä että tämä on hyvä tapa harjoitella myös puhutaan äidinkielenään puhuvan kanssa.😁😍❤️

the names of the tools are quite hard to translate into english. Nobody in the UK or USA would guess what a "snow pusher" actually is and "lumentyönnin rullaava" is even harder to describe in english. I have one from Fiskars and it took several years to work out how best to use it.

I've never really known what to call it! 😜 My British friend works in a ski resort in France and he suggested "snow pusher", although he didn't seem 100% certain. When I worked there myself I was surprised they weren't that common there. I wonder if people in places like Minnesota have them? What do they call them? Please, if anyone knows the term, let me know! Thanks for the comment!
