My vet told me that my sons had to have 1 1/2 to 2 inch perches for cage and play. or larger depending on their foot size. Your birds are so beautiful and sweet...I love them...thank you for sharing. Loved watching...Bev...
This is priceless. My recently widowed Amazon, Chester, is over the moon in love with Lillyann. He accepts Pancho. I have to get him a real bird - he has chewed up the corners of my iPad - even breaking the glass to get closer to Lillyann. Even I talk along with Lillyann now (I'm living in a 400 sq ft house - so I hear it all day - it's nice to have more than one bird in the house). Before I put on Lillyann, Chester had been silent for two months, if you don't count the two nights he cried. Lillyann has made him so happy. Thank you for putting these videos online - and I hope you will give us some new material soon. If Lillyann eats pellets, I would love to have a video of that. I have allowed Chester to have seed during this difficult time (he had a mate for 36 years), and now he pretends he can't see the pellets. He isn't eating very well yet... he needs encouragement. He will eat seeds if I put them so he doesn't have to take his eyes off Lillyann while he is eating. This is Gone With the Wind for Amazons.
Very nice, Amazon’s of these types can be hard to handle. I tried to adopt an older double yellow like Lillian but he was used to being a young boys bird and he was into luring humans to feed him and then he proceeded to purposely take a chunk out of me........ it was a trial which can be good just to see if a bird can be re-homed and works out. Your peaceful house will never be the same folks but you seem pretty good natured and that is very fabulous!
Birds pick the person - not the other way around. That bird may have been a real sweetheart with the right person. You can't change the chemistry. I have rescued countless birds, and some became loving pets for me - and others found homes with other people - and if it didn't work out - we tried again with someone else. If you want to have a bird, you need to find one that loves you before you buy it.
Love these two💙🧡 I have a 18yr old male Orange Wing Amazon and he's a character. Amazon Parrots are incredible, but require lots of unconditional love and attention. They're so much worth it.
❤WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD WHO CREATED SUCH BEAUTIFUL BIRDS!!! THANK YOU LORD, JESUS, FATHER, HOLY SPIRIT❤!!! O MY DARLING, O MY DARLING, CLEMENTINE!!! LOVELY SINGING!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!❤
I have a yellow naped Amazon his name is eamon just got him back in April of this year he’s a blessing he says what and wtf😂 I love your birds very funny
I havent seen new videos in a while so i wanted to check in on you. Hope all is well with you and your family and those sweet birds!! These 2 always make my day ;)
Thank you for watching!! Lily and Pancho are doing great. It has been a little hectic and time ahead not given me the opportunity to record new videos but I will be adding some soon.
My beautiful Blue Front Amazon did not come from a monkey, or crawl out of the ocean. Only God could create such a beautiful creature and all the other beautiful creatures in this world of ours.
They are such beautiful birds you must spend a lot of time with them. I never heard birds talk that plain. How old are they? I play your videos every morning for my birds. I have a Cockatiel, he talks, a small Conure , and a couque. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
They're so adorable 😍 I have a Myers Parrot, IZZY, He's 16 now.. so smart n talks a lot! He's like one of my kids lol 😆 Izzys definitely the boss around here lol
Hello there hello bird lover I just came across your videos, and I subscribed to your channel, yay !! I love to hear your Lilian sing. It makes me so happy on the inside.‼️ What kind of bird or parrot is Lillian? My husband and I are looking to get a parrot real soon, so yeah, any info would be so helpful……
Nothing wrong with Lily singing Jingle Bells - not at all! Although sung cheerfully by millions every holiday season, "Jingle Bells," wasn't actually intended to be a Christmas carol at all. That's not even the original name of the song!
Be very careful. If you get a male and female - it can change your household like you wouldn't believe. If you have a male, they can become extremely aggressive when hormonal. I don't have an answer for you, but just be careful. Try to get a deal where you can return the bird if it doesn't work out. I'm looking for a bird to keep my bird company also. I'm doing zoom visits to see if I can find a compatible bird.
What it the costs of keeping a yellow head. I would like that you would have to watch them so they wouldn't peck children's fingers?. I had on as a child but can't remember. .
The veterinary bills are unbelievable. My birds' medication costs me $400 every other month. One of the birds needed an exploratory surgery and they told me it would cost $6,000. You need to feed them organic food. They chew up everything - especially the stuff you love the most (they want to share what you cherish). And they aren't good if you live in an apartment because they can be LOUD.
The base cost of a cage for an amazon is probably anywhere from $500-1,000 and that doesn’t count toys and natural wood perches (which are a requirement). That’s probably an extra $200 and vet bills are insane. If you can adopt an amazon in need of rehoming it will cost less than buying a hand tamed baby (some can be upwards of $5,000) but don’t take on a rescue unless you’re confident in your ability to give them a good life. Fresh food and pellets will likely cost about $75 a month and all of those costs are reoccurring except buying the bird and probably the cage. So all in all anywhere from a $1,500-7,000 up front cost
Lillian (double-yellow head) is 15years old she came to me 5years ago with an already large vocabulary- she has since picked up on new works from my kids. As far as advice- be patient talk to you baby as if it’s human never walk by without saying something positive I.e good morning pretty bird, good afternoon, you want a snack?, sing a good night song your new baby will eventually pick up on your words but remember not all parrots will talk. My Pancho (blue-Fronted) only says hello and whistles tunes but that’s it. I talk to home everyday for the past 5 years and he spends lots of time with Lillie who always talks and he still has not picked up on other words but it’s ok he’s a fun companion anyways. Just be patient. Thank you for watching
Love your beautiful birds wish I had them

God is great, what beautiful creatures he has created.
They came from the dinosaurs, not from god.
Yes He is!!!!
He created. Them all so alike and so different too.ilove them.all
@@olgierdvoneverec9411 that makes no sense. A dinosaur is a creature. God created creatures. -_-
@@dragonempress8367 No, man created god.

Lilly
Hi! How old are they?? We just got a 4 month old double yellow headed amazon parrot and don’t know how to train yet, any advice?

São muito lindos
How come the yellow head one peck the blue head one
Muito lindo...
A little jealousy there ?
Question, Do female's speak more than male's?
Jennifer O'Dell no they don’t, it all depends on how much time your willing to spend with your feathered friend.
@@lilianpanchoamazonparrots1589 Thank You
Please get them to sing more in Spanish!
