Your right they did practice earlier, they had young college players with them if I’m not mistaken. The guys were posting up the inside and trying to shake the perimeter players. All part of getting them ready if it gets physical they’ll be fully prepared, Great strategy by the way…
Iowa never had 2 games of bad shootings. I except them to shoot well. The game of Uconn should have never been close but the players were not making their layups and just making dumb mistakes. Clark had 5 perfect passes to teamates under the basket but they never made them.
It’s funny you say that because as a UConn fan I thought we should have been up by 20 at half. In the end when good teams play defense players miss. SC size is going to be a real issue and unlike UConn their bench is deep. I don’t see this as being a close game, SC is just way better than any other team. I think they beat my UConn team by 20 or so. Clark is great but SC is a complete team.
I don’t think they have a chance against SC. They are just to big. They had fifty rebound last game. I wish them well but SC is just to big and they get to many second chances to score.
Cardiso or whatever her name is, is not athletic. She is slow and just tall, Iowa centers are athletic. A few runs up and down the court Cardiso is tied and out of breath. First few possession Iowa need to attack the rim and get at least 1 or 2 fouls from her.
Iowa is quick. Iowa's big (Hannah Stuelke at 6'2'') ran track in HS. Iowa is a great passing team. SC will be the favorite, but Iowa has weapons to exploit. SC has had scares this year against lesser teams. It will depend on which teams show up tomorrow.
There are more people and media watching a team practice than a regular WNBA game.
Damn!!! Packed arena for PRACTICE! That is amazing!
I'm assuming people get in for free to watch a team practice. Or is there an entrance fee because Iowa has been huge?
@@ivanvillarruz8412 Yeah I agree, I'm assuming free entrance. But still, that's a sick turnout!!
Expect a big iowa turnaround tomorrow, sc is great, should be a classic! Can't wait!
Dang i might be annoyed if 1000's of people were watching my practice. Usually its just the team and a closed gym, private
It called open practice. It’s free for fans. Just a glorified shoot around.
this is not their real practice, just shootaround
Not when it's the final 4 and national championship. It's a spectacle for sure.
Yes, but still not real practice or prep. For fans and to hype up team
I think they have had their practice already.
Iowa Women’s Basketball the new America’s Team 🇺🇸
NOPE 😅.
@@Benwood1900YEP!!!! The support from around the country is phenomenal!!! GO HAWKS!
@@Benwood1900 Literally, yes. They stand for based American values. By definition, they are America's team.
@@medmuscle Huh? "They stand for based American values." What's that supposed to mean?
What was the old America's team?

UConn has been practicing like this for years, playing against men. It’s pretty common.
Oh wow I didn’t know that… Thx
This past week of ncaaw basketball has been incredible
It would not surprise me for South Carolina's Coach Dawn Staley to use this video to pump up her team.
Didn't know these practices were open to public...?? Surely they also have a closed session..??

Exactly....The UConn game would have never been close, if Iowa had a better % scoring on 3's and the high Turnover (12) in the 1st half

Damn people packing arena for practice now?!
is this an open practice prior to the final game?
When they are exiting, I’ve seen the Iowa Hawkeyes in the color scheme and sign design, but the 7 letter word was divided.
pls upload full video
This is crazy, just practice right👍😅🏀
Packing the house for practice.
Iowa gonna be on fire 🔥 they are on a mission. Jobs not finished. Get'em GO HAWKS
Its all about Iowa ......
Go Hawks!!!
4COL! What happened to private practice? The public's presence may prove to distract the team.
Seriously....The Women players shoot as well or better than men
smaller ball
That is such a stupid comment. Yes it's smaller ball because THE WOMEN ARE SMALLER...I highly doubt ya could even beat their managers.
@@jdneely9939 smaller ball same rim do the math
@@piggy4651 it’s 2 oz weight difference and they have far less muscle mass.
Go Hawks from Husker Nation.
Bruh. You can’t even practice in peace anymore? Just a National Championship on the line. No biggie.

How distracting for the team. Is this something new? If i were the coach I wouldn't be excited about this.
Good luck on Sunday Hawkeyes
Farm living is the life for me.Darling I love you....but give me the country side
3s in yo face
The only way Iowa wins if they hit three's, trade two for three's is Iowa's best chance.
They’d better practice 3s because they’re not scoring in the paint.

Only way they win is with the assistance of the refs 😂 because I don’t see them no where near close to beating sc
Well. Maybe they can get the same ref's that LSU had last year. Hopefully they don't like S.C.
People talk without knowing anything.
You must not have watched the SC game against NC.
